There's got to be nothing worse than to have a kid who is brutally murdered under sensational circumstances by an unknown suspect, or have a kid who carries out a mass shooting especially of other kids.

The public always heaps blame and outrage onto the parents even when they have nothing to do with the kid's murder or bad actions, and are undergoing tremendous suffering at what happened with their child.

I've never understood the desire to blame and hate them for instance the Natalie Holloway and Jon Benet murder cases. People wanted so badly to believe the mothers did it.

I don't know the details of this case but I doubt the parents of the 15 year old boy encouraged him to shoot up his classmates. It sounds like he was a very disturbed perhaps evil kid who took his dad's gun to do that.

I'm sure there are lots of families that have guns and don't lock them up, many teach gun safety to their kids so they don't have to. Some teen boys have access to guns and go bird-hunting and such, they don't shoot up schools while they are at it.

Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if those parents have run off to kill themselves because they know they will be hounded and blamed, and perhaps imprisoned for the rest of their lives.

Not everyone is lucky enough to give birth to normal, mentally healthy kids. Even the best of parents can give birth to monsters. It's the roll of the dice.

Trust me they are not going to get over the usa/ca border at windsor/Detroit or Sault ste. Marie/ca/usa. You have to have your passport or enhanced drivers license, you have to have a recent covid test and your covid vaccine showing your name. Look at it this way: If its inherited behavior, the other parent should have seen the mimicked behavior of his or her child and gotten treatment for the dad/mom and the kid OR the teachers and friends may have told them for years "something is wrong with Jonnie". Thus the parents are culpable.

If it isnt organic/inherited, then it is LEARNED by first observing the parents bad behavior and then the parents condoning or excusing the childs behavior until it is so ingrained they have created a monster by liberal upbringing, godless homestyle, no consequences for EVIL behavior, etc.

Based on what I have heard I believe the dad probably bought the gun for the kid for his protection in his own house and the kid took it to school.

I also heard the kid didn't have ammo and was caught by a teacher or another student I think, looking for it on line.

If the parents gave him the gun but didn't let him have ammo for it that would make sense, thats usually how it is done in a "gun family, a gun lives here". The kid cant get the bullets any easier than the gun itself at a store.

The kid has a right to defend himself in his own house from most people reasoning. SO it isnt necessarily "neglect" for a 15 yo to have access to a gun. In my house I had "access to a gun" before I could even walk.


My father KEPT HIS GUNS in my bedroom when my brother kicked me out of our room and I had to bunk in his den. Dozens of them. Ammunition for all of them. Never shot anything or anyone I didnt intend to, not so much as an "accidental discharge" because I knew about guns and what they could do from watching it.



He's little, but he's 15. I had my first rifle at about 6 as I recall. IMO he was probably relentlessly bullied and finally snapped and said fuck it, instead of killing myself I'll kill the fuckers making me feel that way. It happens.

But under the law it is still premeditated murder, even if the fucker very badly NEEDED killing.




I don't know all of the details but the parents suck at it if they ran off and let their kid take the entire wrap. No wonder the kid is fucked up.

On the one hand I agree, on the other hand I disagree. Kids are volatile. It's unnatural for them to be around people only their own age all day long, ever day. I used to make the ex keep all of his guns locked up. My boys were always scrapping with each other. I'd tell them tomorrow you'll have forgotten all about it. And don't pay attention to what any kids say - you'll never see them again once you've finished school.

Charges are politcal in my opinion, but haven't seen the evidence against them.
