I watch the TV series...Investigation Discovery.

They have had parents, especially dads, telling about their children who killed as adults. One dad gave his son a knife that was given to him by his father. It was special to him. The parents appeared kind and very good to the boy growing up. One night, the kid was asked to spend an overnight with his friend and his family. He stabbed them to death. Just unbelievable. A month later, the boy admitted the murder to his father who had to turn his son in.

Jeffrey Dahmer's parents have also appeared on the show. Very kind people who had no idea what went wrong.

The parents most likely should not be charged, facts are not all out yet. Unless they put that gun in his hand and said go for it, there is nothing to charge them with. This is going to be another political stunt tied to the lives of 4 high school kids, way to go liberals. It is sick, but like Obama said "Never let a good crisis go to waste"

What should be talked about is how the parents could be so distant from thier child, how could they not see his suffering and initiate any and all help needed for the kid. A 15 year old does not just wake up and decide to kill people. They failed at their job from the looks of it and have now fled, leaving him alone to deal with murder charges as a child. This speaks volume to how he was raised. He had shit for parents and they should suck it up, face a jury and be there for thier son.

Man I got in some HELL-ACIOUS fights with my brother and it never occurred to us to pick up a gun.

HOWEVER, my neighbors DID get wasted and in a gunfight on new years eve one time; over what was going to be watched on the TV.

The old man wanted to watch the Orange Bowl and the old lady wanted to watch a lover boy tearjerk story. It is no wonder gunfire erupted. The kids came running over saying I think my mommy shot my daddy, and my dad called the sheriff. That was the only time I ever saw a cop on that road, and my dad called the fuckers.


ANYWAY, i was a bit older than them , and I comforted the children with the reality that both parents MUST still be alive, since gunfire was taking place in two areas of their yard simultaneously.

The child was bullied at school. Kids usually do not tell parents about the bullying. They're usually too embarrassed to admit to parents at that age. Or...if he did tell his parents, and the parents tell school authorities, the school does nothing.

When my grandson was in 3rd grade, a fat 6th grader was bullying my grandson. My grandson told my daughter. She was very active in the school, so she knew the teachers and principal. They did nothing, or if they did talk to the bully, he continued his bullying.

So, one day my daughter waited after school for the bully. She picked him up by the collar....got in his face and told him if he ever bullied her son again, she'd beat the shit out of him.

He never bullied my grandson again. lol....I can just see her doing that. Makes me laugh to this day. She does not play around.

The next day my dad found a bullet hole in his mustang. These folks had a beautiful swimming pool in their back yard when they moved in that they refused to use, and it had turned into a swamp. Complete with snakes, fish, frogs, the whole nine. The kids were weird as fuck and didn't go to our school. They couldn't wear bright colors tenna-shoes or underwear, like Amish.

But the parents drank all the time, and the kids kept running over to our house when they did. One day I came home from school and they were gone, and I never saw or heard what became of them

Good for your daughter! I think instead of blaming guns people should be looking more closely at the bullying. You can only bully a child so much before something like this happens.

I find the incessant coverage of certain 'news stories' bizarre.

Like the original commenter said- if parents are going to be charged in every single shooting, we should have YEARS of 24/7 coverage just from Chicago alone.

Ever notice the MSM picks one or two events to focus on, instead of reporting every and all stories equally?

Imo, these things scream 'false flag' and a set-up by one of our notorious intel agencies to fulfill the agenda du jour.

I wish people would understand that almost EVERYTHING we see on the news, is fake.

A lot of that too comes down to genetics. For example, I've known of guys that were decent guys, but yet they married a female that had trailer-park genetics. In other words, the daughter or son received the genetics from the mother's side responsible for deviance. The father might be intelligent and kind, but the daughter becomes a stripper or the son kills someone. It's a little rare because usually trailer park trash females will only reproduce with their own kind. They typically hate good men.

It would be like a multi-millionaire well-to-do blue blood guy with good character and morals having kids with someone like Anna Nicole Smith (oh whom is dead). Sure, he would be with Anna because she was hot and they'd be the paparazzi capturing couple in public. But Anna came from a trailer park background despite her looks. So it's possible that the well-to-do rich guy could end up with sons that look like their name should be "Ronny" and are the types to get into drugs along with degenerative behavior.

So yea, you could be a great guy. But your kids could end up with your wife's genetics mostly. Like if she has a brother or uncle that is a violent offender, your son might receive those genes.

I think the responsibility here is shared between the school and the parents, and I'll tell you why. They all let this fester into what happened in that school.

People don't just decide to shoot you for no reason, almost all of these shooters targeted specific individuals they were intending to shoot for whatever reason, in most cases some type of bullies.

The point is, if the bullying wasn't allowed to happen and it shouldn't be, no kid would ever be driven to this besides the most extreme cases.

I agree. When they first posted a photo of that kid, I took one look and said to myself, "He was bullied."

My daughter is great. She flew planes/soloed when she was 16. I had to drive her to the airport. She didn't want anything but a rifle for Christmas at 17. She still has it. One of the wittiest people I know. A widow when my grandson was 6, she raised him to be a scholar and a gentleman. Smart, kind kid. Architectural engineer.
