Girlfriend Throws Away £340million of Bitcoin! He Hires Crashed Space Shuttle Recoverers To Find It!

Mr Howells who had 7500 Bitcoins on his Hard Drive cleaned out his office.

"The current valuation is £342million but around a week ago it was at its peak of £420million."

Unfortunately his girlfriend took everything including the hard drive to the local tip and rubbish landfill site.

By the time he realised this, it was buried with mounds of other waste from bins.

He now longer is with the same girlfriend!

He has attempted to gain access to the Local Councils waste tip's.

They have been reluctant, even offering them a quarter of any recovered Bitcoin.

He is now:

"hoping that company Ontrack, which was once hired by NASA to recover the hard drive from the Columbia space shuttle after it crashed to Earth in 2003, could help him.

The Minneapolis company managed to recoup 99% of the data - despite the hard drive being found in a dried up lake bed six months after the incident."

"They were able to recover from a shuttle that exploded and they don't seem to think that being at a landfill will be a problem."

This originaly happened in mid 2013, as Mr Howells was a very early pioneer and miner of Bitcoin.

He has been trying since then to get to his hard drive, and seeing the price rise and rise, and unable to get at his property, that is now the property as waste of the local councils, who wwill not get it themselves, or it seems let Mr Howells get it.

I only got into cryptos in late 2017, so I have no idea what hobby "miners" were doing in the very early days.

From what I've learned, BTC was just "magic Internet money", akin to in-game tokens, back in the day.

It was actually being given away in large quantities, at the start.
