Then though it was worse the second time, however because of extreme unexpected life situations in both our lives (the type that happen 1-3 times in your entire life) within a year for both of us.

responsibilities, things causing seperation of distance, unable to be close, etc, plus economic massive changes... so never worked out.

Besides those it may have done.

If there was no cheating involved which is the case in 50% of more of relationships and marriage breakups, and you both want to...talk, have boundaries, take it slow why not maybe?

No. Those relationships ended for a reason and I now view all of them as dodged bullets. I finished college and worked on myself. Now I have a great guy that I have been with for 11 years and no signs of the trajectory changing.


If there is no evidence that this won't happen again, I wouldn't go back. If you both didn't care enough about each other to be patient the first time, what makes you think you will this time? And do you truly feel like this or was this mutual impatience thought brought up by the other party first?
