Horse paste is now impossible to get. I live in rural Ohio, no longer at farm stores

I'll have to go in Tractor Supply and check. I got a couple of tube from Amazon but that was before the ivermectin craze. I got pills too from a local doctor and pharmacy. Heard the feds are going after them too.

Why would anyone buy horse paste when smaller and accurate dosages are available in pill form for dog heart worms basically everywhere.

Get the large dog dewormer pills!

No doubt doing everything to cut off the supply of something that works against the virus.

Horse paste in my area is $6/tube. I've taken it with very good results and I trust it.

But it was on a pricey side, about 80 USD for a 100 tab box plust shipment

I just ordered some ivermectin and fenbenzadol from Valley Vet. They have fish antibiotics too. Tractor Supply doesn't ship most of their stock.

So my paste of choice, Duramectin, is still available online at a few places... but holy shit, it's pricey! $16 a tube (plus $10 shipping) if you can find it in stock.

I briefly looked at the dog heartworm meds and they're even more expensive.

Word has apparently gotten out about ivermectin's safety and effectiveness.

we bought two tubes yesterday at our local feed store (Central Florida area)

they used to be 2.75 a tube, now they are 8.50.
they have it behind their counter now when it used to sit out on a shelf.

i needed it for some ground itch (creeping eruption) but i was able to get rid of that mess with some ICY HOT.

Umm… this is NOT the ivermectin only paste!
This paste has “praziquantel“ added to it.
Do NOT use this one! Only use the paste that has only 1 active ingredient in it of ivermectin. (Usually 1.87%).
Also NEVER use the pour on (pour over skin)!

It's not OTC for heartworm medication for dogs.

At least in Michigan I can't get my hands on it without a script.

Ivermectin is going to be a big scandal coming up. This horse paste shit happened because people couldn't get the human version, and the FDA stoked the flames of this conspiracy crap. The suppression of IVM for covid will have historical impact on the trust of the western med establishment. Meanwhile in Japan and India and elsewhere, IVM ended the covid crap.

Damn crooks, that is SO dangerous not to be able to get early treatment. Do a search on Ivermectin here, there is someone who was posting about getting it from India. And now that they've cured all their people of covid WITH Ivermectin, they probably have plenty. You may need to contact them to see if you can get them to send it without showing the name of the contents on the package. This is dangerous for the horses as well. I hope the owners have a way of getting it.

I had to order mine on the TSC website and had it shipped to store. My local store had pulled it from the shelves and that was over a year ago.

India will ship it, but I've heard multiple people say US Customs will intercept it. Saying ivermectin is available by prescription in the US (it is at least hypothetically), and the FDA doesn't trust the quality of the stuff from India.

I bought mine from Chewy. Got it two weeks ago. Yes, it said "not for human use" but oh well...
