If war breaks out, Germany isn't going to do shit. Germany will declare neutrality. They have no choice. They are a mentally destroyed nation, and they effectively don't have a military.

Their airforce only exists on paper, and they don't even have enough guns for proper training exercises, let alone military conflict.

The Russians tied down German forces on the Eastern Front ( thank you Hitler you deluded military genius) and killed more nazis in ground action than all rest of the Allies.

Not sure what Patton thought the allies could do about Russia in the long term but 1945 neither Europe nor the US was ready militarily or politically to start another ground war against Russia,

Germany is the most powerful state in Europe.

Patton was a warrior and wanted to keep fighting. But this guy is correct, the Red Army massively outnumber the western allies in men, tanks, armillary, planes. Churchill distrusted the Soviets and had his people study what would happen if the western allies fought the Soviets. It was called Operation Unthinkable and it wasn't pretty. The likely outcome would have been the entire continental Europe as communist.

Remember while the Soviets always wanted to spread communism they never had much success even losing a war with Poland in the early 1920s. It wasn't until the communists became allies with the Nazis with the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact that Stalin was able to spread communism. Hitler basically gave the Soviets most of Eastern Europe which allowed Stalin to seize half of Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia as well as a free hand to invade Finland and seize parts of Romania. Without the deal with the Nazis the Soviet Union would never able been able to spread communism as much as they did.

You are completely wrong with your claim that the Russians "outnumbered" the Western Armies in armaments.
Are you not aware that e.g. the famous T34 tank was build by the thousands in the United States and shipped to the Soviets?
And this goes for almost all weaponry used by the Red Army.
Without uber-massive armament shipments from the US to the Russian Communists the Russians would not have lasted another year.

That is incorrect. The US sent several thousand Sherman tanks to the Soviets but no T-34 tanks were built in the US. Between 1940 and 1945 the Soviet Union built more than 80,000 T-34 tanks. The Soviets out produced the Germans which isn't surprising since the Soviet Union was larger, had more people and more natural resources.



Lend lease and the convoys that delivered those supplies were a big help for the Soviets in defeating Germany. But the Soviets built the vast majority of their small arms, artillery and tanks. They received a few thousand tanks and planes but they produced huge numbers of both. Probably the biggest help was the massive number of Studebaker trucks the Red Army received. During Operation Bagration in 1944 when the Red Army annihilated Army Group Center and recaptured most of their territory they did so with their own weapons but moved their soldiers quickly with US built trucks.



For the first 2 years of WWII the communists and Nazis were on the same side. They invaded Poland together and met as friends in central Poland splitting up their conquest. Germany invaded all the free nations of Western Europe powered by oil and grain from their communist Soviet allies. The Soviets ended up on the same side as the UK and US because a dummkopf named Hitler turned on his communist ally in 1941. Nazi socialism and Soviet communism were similar leftist authoritarian regimes.
