Saponins are in many plant foods we consume. I doubt we get a toxic fatal level, otherwise participants would have died by now. It is simply used to illicit a stronger immune response. As far as the spikes go, they will be taken care of by our own antibody production. They are limited in number and NOT MADE BY OUR OWN BODY. IOW's there is an end for them once our antibodies find them and consume them, unlike Mrna where our own cells are constantly spitting them out.
