Ebay is criminal fraudster scum. They outright stole $300 from me. The vendor didn’t even ship the item. In online chat, they said I was covered by their “money back guarantee”, but they didn’t honor it. After a month or so, they would hang up on me in the chat session. There wasn’t any other recourse through them. Because of the amount of time Ebay strung it out, I couldn’t stop payment through my payment processor and Ebay wouldn’t return my money or force the vendor to repay my money. I had spent thousands through them, but no longer. The buyer definitively doesn’t always win with Ebay. This was a clear case of fraud on Ebay’s part. They are criminal fraudster scum.

That may have worked sometime ago but they caught wind of this scam a long time ago. If they don't return the original unit the same way they bought the unit - seller wins.

The biggest eBay scam involves the seller shipping the purchased item somewhere other than your home, or not shipping it at all, and somehow getting a tracking number that "proves" it was delivered to your address when in fact nothing was delivered. Nothing delivered means nothing to return. No refund. A total loss.

In my case, nothing was shipped as shown by Ebay’s own records. For me it was nothing shipped, nothing delivered, nothing to return, no refund, no way to give negative feedback, and total loss. And, the seller is still selling on Ebay.
