Ct scans use an iodine based contrast and mris use gadolinium. The fact that people can still get mris doesn't negate the possibility of a ct scan contrast shortage. |

We can still do CT scans without, it just shows more especially in cases of tumors…and we can’t do blood clot studies without contrast. Our hospital tried to order more but everything is on “back order.” |
