BTW: if Jesus hadn't paraded into Jerusalem astride a white Ass and under a palm-frond canopy, the Romans would've had NO LEGAL AUTHORITY to later arrest him even at the demand of the Sanhedrin, who were the ones who screamed most loudly for that trial/execution - it WASN'T Pontius Pilate who famously even washed his hands of the whole affair.

Common Roman law was very flexible, but became specific when it came to public displays that mocked their authority... and that's precisely what that little parade did. Even so, Pilate likely would've simply fined or exiled Jesus from the region... but Jesus' OWN PEOPLE demanded that blood and that's what they got.

And the same thing would happen again today in nearly any major city in the world if you stupidly tried that and slandered a government to that degree.

Jesus never needs any gun for sword, his protection was who he was and is, he was empowered by the LORD GOD, you could never hurt him except if he let you. He was not looking forward to the pain because he asked the LORD GOD if it could be taken from him, but if not Your will not my will be done. If he had not done it no one would have been saved.

You need to go back and read that ENTIRE scripture Precious, because it says far MORE than that: it specifically addresses the bearing of false witness I mentioned above... and of which you too are now guilty.

You'll find it at Matthew 7:15-20. It's one thing to blithely quote the Gospel but quite another to do so in an accurate context. You may wish to try it sometime.
