AND a lot of these people who stayed rent free just have an entitlement attitudes, it wasn't the lower class poor a lot of them were middle class and didnt want to "uproot" their kids. States were paying for hotels and there's always the homeless shelter option, but many felt they were to good for it.
I was once in a position years agl where I could no longer pay rent, I took my kids and went to a shelter saved up and moved a few months later, eviction not necessary it wasn't my place.
There is no excuse for taking advantage of anyone, and now all those people also ha e evictions on their record which makes it even harder to find a place. Low or high high or poor don't take advantage of anyone period!

Yes I live about 50 miles from San Diego and our little town has been overrun with illegals. Taco and fruit stands on every corner now!! The authorities have given up trying to crack down. Walk into any corner drugstore and it looks like Mexico. I took my granddaughter to the dentist last week and everyone in the waiting room were Hispanic that did not speak a lick of English.
Constant car accidents (hit and runs) all over the place. I don’t recognize my once cute little retirement town that had a bank on every corner. All the snow birds left and what’s left is a drug infected homeless community that looks like Tijuana. Unfortunately we only have 2 more years until early retirement and then were moving to Tennessee. I can only imagine what the next few months holds.
