Looking that far back the visible black part of space should be as bright as a star in the background due to light from the Big Bang. It only moves at 186000m/s and should still be visible somewhere.

It’s possible for the world to be both 6000 years old and 13.8 billion years ago because science and faith are compatible with one another.

Imagine for a second that we can created a simulated universe. We can set the parameters and tell it to start at a certain time so that it starts out already 13.8 billion years old. God can stop and start this 13.8 billion year old universe at any point in time. Perhaps God started the simulation 6000 years ago.
