So, if you resell your car, the new customer will have to pay for the feature again. The same feature will be sold to each new owner of the car through its lifetime, as opposed to it being bought a single time at the very beginning. These kinds of practices ruin businesses. German cars are already impractical to own as it is and this will make them even more impractical. And as the energy prices are going up in Europe, a basic 3 series will soon be approaching the $80K price. Who is going to want this?

Maybe I don't need remote car start, but it's installed? Don't have to pay for it unless I want to use it.

Like leasing, it's a payment plan that isn't for everyone.

They're more reliable than BMW and Mercedes though.

The seat heaters, and seat chillers all work in my BMW. Ditto for the cup warmers/chillers.
