Trying to quit/cut back on alchohol thread. 83 days!! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77557372 Not the first time I’ve tried to quit drugs and alcohol, but the longest Every other time I lived in denial that I could still use/drink a little or here and there. Went to treatment, never faced any of the problems. Never thought I’d enjoy AA, but it’s changing my life. At 37, I’m finally growing up. It’s tough feeling behind those I know my age and even younger. No kids, never married, still rent. But I have my health, a great career, family and friends who support me and all the things I need at the moment. Pray for anyone on this journey. Grateful!! It is ALL your CHOICE. I am happy to hear it is going well for you. If you WANT to live a sober life, DO IT. CHOOSE to be sober, and just be sober. It may be hard at times... Tough shit. Life is hard sometimes. YOU decide. When you truly choose in your heart to be sober, you will be sober and stay sober. You may be faced with challenges and temptations. Understand that is just another CHOICE for you to make and all you need to do is simply choose to be sober each time and don't be WEAK, don't ALLOW yourself to be beaten by temptation. You can be in control if you decide to be in control. 100%. You can do it. Check out this thread for important statistics which have showed (since early summer 2021) that Covid “Vaccine” is more likely to KILL YOU than save you: Thread: COVID JAB statistically more likely to KILL YOU per official CDC DATA. You’re 3.87x more likely to die from the Pfizer vax than save your life!! |
