Saying "Can Biden keep gas prices down..." is the problem in this country. They TRIPLE the price of gas in 1 year, and now you say that the price is "down" because it's only double what it was a year ago. I would use different wording as this sounds like a frog in a pot.

IIMO we’d still be about $5 a gal ( more in Cali) and I predict it will ne $5-$6 a gal here after the election…by late Nov. esp if Republicans win…to punish voters.

Drain the strategic oil reserves that were originally filled with cheap oil, and then fill them back up with expensive oil. Bidenomics at it's best!

The BidAn coup has done no favors to any fuel consumers. NatG, propane, butane, gasoline, diesel, kerosene are all rose to irregularly high rates much due to intentional economic incompetence and sabotage. This issue is larger than BidAn's agenda against fossil fuels and green deals. It is also an embrace by some fuel companies to divest away from refining capacity. As part of a contraction and consolidation of the fuel refining industry, about half of the 300 or so of North American refineries have permanently shut down and dismantled over the past few decades with no new refineries replacing defunct locations. Several existing refineries have also begun the refit to processing bio-diesel and fuel alcohols from corn and other food crops. This capacity is not coming back. The remaining refineries know that this will keep fuel prices high going forward with little possibility of gasoline and diesel going back down to Trump era prices. It will never happen even if the US becomes energy independent again, completed the XL pipeline, opens up drilling in federal land and Alaska, or starts fracking in liberal shit states.

The supply will be there, but the refining capacity is not there. The investment for investigating new leases has moved into greener sectors of investment. The money changers are money chasers.

The draining of the strategic oil and gas reserve will place huge additional debt into this failing economy. Buy high and sell low at subsidized prices to the nation's enemies is never a viable economic strategy.

This country has no one behind the wheel of this clown car.
