Consider the challenges of transmitting these images back to earth in this setting, and how the feed is then broadcasted out. Lots of manipulation. Were you expecting a 3rd Party camera that will see the collision in 24hz? Settle your expectations. Instead consider analyzing the size of the asteroid and objects as the craft neared, as they should become exponentially larger on the camera every “frame”, separate of thruster corrections.
