Its a sound that is like a feeling. U feel it as well as hear it.

It is the landing gear opening on the newer Airbus A320’s. It whistles as the doors open and the gear comes down. Now imagine that sound reflecting off of all those tall glass buildings….

That area is right under the Expressway arrival for LaGuardia.
