Great Pyrenees kills 8 COYOTES while protecting his sheep

What an amazing story and a hard-fighting dog.

If we had enough patriots like him, our Republic would never be in the condition it's in and the neo-aristocratic/technocratic "coyotes" would have been long ago decimated.

THIS wasn't for entertainment.

Now you know why I love my Kuvasz same as Pyrenees but smarter, he won't let anyone go near my purse, my car keys, my night stand or my remote! Ha

I rescued a one year old Great Pyrenees last spring and I can tell you that her white wolf nature is just beneath the surface.

Can be a scary dog.

And I've owned lots of big and little dogs in my life.

And she's very destructive. Think of an extremely strong, big headed dog with enormous jaws and lots of weight behind her.

You don't realize they have such big jaws until they start carrying enormous blocks of wood around.

She is getting better though as she ages.

She is a very beautiful dog.

I will add that we used to have coyote packs visit almost nightly before we got her and they mostly stay away now. And bears too. It's why I got her.

If they show up she just starts barking and the coyote pack immediately disappears into the dark.

Oh no? How do we know it happened then? Because the missing mustache owner wanted to tell his dogs story to the world thru a camera lense. That's called entertainment fool. My dog killed other dogs, the world must hear my story!


If the guy really cared about his dog or sheep, he would have shot the coyotes. Not stood there relishing the moment and stamping the details in his mind for future regurgitation.

Best dogs ever. I have one and his brain is incredible. The cunning and intelligence of this breed is unmatched.

I knew a couple of great Pyrenees. They're very intelligent and lovable dogs. And very massive.

This story is strange to me because Decatur city limits border Atlanta city limits, so I find it curious that someone has a flock of sheep in Decatur. It would be like having a sheep farm in the Bronx or on Staten Island. Weird. Decatur is considered part of the 'Metro Area,' but, unlike some of the cities on the edge of that border like 35 miles out, Decatur is *right next* to Atlanta.

To be sure, though, there used to be dairy farms out there, before the sprawl of Atlanta gobbled them up, so it's possible there's still some farm-type lots in Decatur, but I haven't seen any in decades.

Such an interesting breed.
They've been around a long time.

They fell from popularity and European governments, in the 80's, started breeding incentives to try and curb the wolf killing sheep problem. And it did.

Wow, attack a pack of 11 coyote alone...and kill 8 of them.

No. The dog almost died if not for medical care. But he fought them off like a champ. He had a lot of injuries. He went through a war.
