If we had enough patriots like him, our Republic would never be in the condition it's in and the neo-aristocratic/technocratic "coyotes" would have been long ago decimated. *All statements above represent my personal opinions. That's what they're bred for. And that's what they do. Casper don't play. Now you know why I love my Kuvasz same as Pyrenees but smarter, he won't let anyone go near my purse, my car keys, my night stand or my remote! Ha Tore the front door down to pieces first time I left him for a weekend Never left him again |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83411700 United States 12/03/2022 10:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to own a great pyrenees male. I am female. Smart dog. Dedicated. Could be stubborn. I got him as a pup from people I bought beef from. His daddy was an awesome dog. Quoting: Maiya His name was Hoss. Hoss would check out any male visitor. One time, hoss checked out a guy that was giving me an estimate for house repairs. Hoss sat down between the 2 of us humans. Hoss was huge. We moved and Hoss moved between us again. I quickly got the hint and did not hire the guy. I was part of the pack of Hoss. RIP buddy. Great story Maiya. My doggo, “”The Dude” passed over the rainbow bridge two years ago and I still miss him so much. I actually look forward to meeting him again when I cross over that bridge… |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75231680 United States 12/03/2022 10:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I rescued a one year old Great Pyrenees last spring and I can tell you that her white wolf nature is just beneath the surface. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75231680 Can be a scary dog. And I've owned lots of big and little dogs in my life. And she's very destructive. Think of an extremely strong, big headed dog with enormous jaws and lots of weight behind her. You don't realize they have such big jaws until they start carrying enormous blocks of wood around. She is getting better though as she ages. |

And bears too. It's why I got her. If they show up she just starts barking and the coyote pack immediately disappears into the dark. Huge fearsome bark. |

However, they are the gentlest dog around their owners and family and are good with cats. "Frosty The Snow Dog" is magnificant. Anonymous Coward User ID: 81456562 United States 12/03/2022 11:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh no? How do we know it happened then? Because the missing mustache owner wanted to tell his dogs story to the world thru a camera lense. That's called entertainment fool. My dog killed other dogs, the world must hear my story! If the guy really cared about his dog or sheep, he would have shot the coyotes. Not stood there relishing the moment and stamping the details in his mind for future regurgitation. |

User ID: 82078175 United States 12/03/2022 11:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This story is strange to me because Decatur city limits border Atlanta city limits, so I find it curious that someone has a flock of sheep in Decatur. It would be like having a sheep farm in the Bronx or on Staten Island. Weird. Decatur is considered part of the 'Metro Area,' but, unlike some of the cities on the edge of that border like 35 miles out, Decatur is *right next* to Atlanta. To be sure, though, there used to be dairy farms out there, before the sprawl of Atlanta gobbled them up, so it's possible there's still some farm-type lots in Decatur, but I haven't seen any in decades. |

Such an interesting breed. They've been around a long time. They fell from popularity and European governments, in the 80's, started breeding incentives to try and curb the wolf killing sheep problem. And it did. I have one too |

If you live in an urban environment or an apartment you should not have most breeds of dogs except for a few toy breeds. Same with Huskies. Lol There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. |

Quoting: Emerald_Glow 2.0 To protect your sheep and your dog. Would be more humane for the coyotes, too, dieing fast, and it would likely make the rest of the pack run away. Missouri has an open season on coyotes. Can kill them all year around except during spring turkey season |
