Now I realize, that the bigger picture struggle is millennia old. At the core of all our problems is the theft of our ancestral heritage, spiritually and otherwise. Also learned I cannot post about these things on here Sadly, almost every GLP topic relates in some way... just about everything in this crazy, upside-down world interconnects. Insightful |

Quoting: Vafþrúðnir Perhaps a digital repository is the answer. Who could be against that? Share what you know. It's there. You just have to ask the right questions and occasionally ascertain long dead sounds. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 85467625 United States 03/21/2023 08:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All that I have learned, it's like trying to catch the tide in a drinking glass. There so much to analyze it's difficult to prioritize it in any meaningful way. I guess a few things stick out as relevant... -It can always get worse...and it will. -Drinking yourself to death isn't suicide, its far worse. -Don't leave room for interpretation when speaking about things people are passionate about. -Enjoy life as much as possible, without enjoyment everyone is miserable. Miserable people suck. -Don't make enemies where there previously were none, similarly friends are more rewarding so take what you can get. -It's ok to be wrong, to learn from one's own mistakes and the wisdom of others isn't a weakness. -Don't be the only person in the room telling jokes. It isn't funny if you are laughing alone. -Helping others is helping yourself. Lifting from the bottom raises the proverbial ceiling. -Love isn't always hearts and fluffy stuffs, sometimes it means wading through difficult terrain. -Be smart, but not too smart, the guy with all the answers will be the one that gets blamed when things go wrong. Thats skimming the surface without getting too personal I think. |
