Do more than expected, take less than allowed. When dealing with a friend, if you aren't getting the short end, you're doing it wrong. Any good Muslim joke starts with a glance over the shoulder. So if you missed the webcast, no worries, here's a short time lapse! Quoting: Astromut Saw the fake ISS fly over again last night. It was brighter than I have ever seen. Quoting: Buck Fiden Just kidding. Nicely done. Do you think the main comet is breaking up? I saw a set of photos that looked like the nucleus was a short string of pearls. That was from Andrew McCarthy? Yeah he goofed. He wasn't tracking directly on the comet like I was, so he confused the streak of its motion for a breakup. As the nucleus is quickly rotating the brightness changes over an exposure a couple minutes long, so when you're tracking the stars and not the comet the comet's nucleus turns into a string of pearls. The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object. ~ Thomas Jefferson, Inaugural Address, 1801 It is not only vain, but wicked, in a legislator to frame laws in opposition to the laws of nature, and to arm them with the terrors of death. This is truly creating crimes in order to punish them. ~ Thomas Jefferson, 1779 |

Ahhh. Yes it was Andrew. I was reminded of the string of pearls images from the Jupiter impact a few years ago. Thanks for clarifying. |
