They don't claim it's aliens.

the only thing they consistently claimed is that these "balloons" would appear to float and be carried by the wind, but at some times they would also stop or even fly against the wind.

And that's bothering the airforce big time because they have no idea how balloons could do that.

That's why they treat this very seriously, why they briefed the senate, and why both Canada, US and China decided to starting shooting down these "balloons".


Everything else is white noise and speculations.

I think the main thing to take note of, is they've gone on record to say it's potentially "extra terrestrial".

How many years have we all been sat on forums, comments sections etc... Talking about incidents with objects clearly not of human origin have happened, and it's brushed under the carpet as swamp gas. Or lens flares. Or whatever crap people think they can spoonfeed to people and get away with.

This is the first time I can genuinely remember where a military official has both suggested the possibility, and actually the media post the quote and not make a mockery of it.

It's actually a huge thing in my opinion. And certainly quoted and published with intent.

Now, whether that's to carry on the theme of building more credible government reportage, or for a false flag agenda, or because we're genuinely shooting down exotic drones.... I don't know

But it's another huge step forward for people who take UAP/UFO's seriously.

And yet GLP of all places is mostly disinterested in this. Even when it's the first time in decades there was a air-to-air kill over the US territory, and it happened not 1 but 3 to 4 times in a matter of days.

But yes, the US air force downed multiple "balloons" that were flying for more than 24 hours over the US and appeared to be able of controlled flight.

Anything else is speculation from you. No need to add ridicule to this, this news is already weird enough and worthy of digging.

Everything with this becomes more and more bizarre with each passing day. I'm not necessarily worried because I work in conjunction with some government agencies and there are no signs that we are on any type of alert.

However, the government is actively going to research groups, universities and likewise to ask if it's possible any of the objects were research based. I find that rather scary that they have no idea on origin.

Additionally the government is being asked very openly if facilities with government sensitive data are at any risk (due to surveillance) and if precautions need to be taken and no one is answering those questions.

Exactly. That's what is the most interesting part. That the government is as puzzled as we are, and that they are communicating it.

Usually they don't show their incompetence in public, they invent a story.

Here they admit to the whole world "unknown objects are freely invading our airspace but we still don't know what they are".

Also keep in mind that many public figures recently changed their discourses about UFOs.

People like Neil Degrasse Tyson who always ridiculed alien UFOs recently said "actually I'm not sure what they could be". Other names made similar declarations recently.

There were rumors that they have been approached by government officials who told them they should stop ridiculing UFOs, because if they kept doing it they would look really stupid in a short term future.






I still haven't put all the pieces together, but yes, this is truly a real conspiracy, one like this site hasn't seen in ages. And it's really sad to see that most GLPers prefer to ignore it or say it's distraction for Hunter's laptop.





Also I disagree that they are no signs of alert. Senate being briefed and shooting balloons with super expensive missiles seem to indicate some kind of panic.

Didn't this all supposedly start with a civilian spotting the first balloon? Didn't China admit it was from there? We saw pics/video of a regular looking white balloon being shot down.

So then suddenly they're shooting down other things that they won't show us and they don't describe as regular looking white balloons.

Why did this all start with that first sighting? Was it a set up to get us all indignant that they hadn't shot down the so called spy balloon?

I completely agree shooting these seems like a "panicked" move. On one hand we have the first 3 norad interceptions ever in the course of a week and a pentagon briefing during the superbowl but on the other I see no outward signs of concern.

For me this makes it even stranger because what's been disclosed publicly on the surface appears very concerning. However what I see from government agencies is its business as usual.

Rumors are that prior to the chinese balloon being spotted, the US air force had software "filters" on their radars and surveillance equipment to filter out stuff like weather balloons, birds, crap flying.


When they realized the chinese used a balloon to spy them, they were forced to turn these "filters" off to assess the situation.

So suddenly they had to deal with dozens of new signals all over their skies, some of them being these smaller floating object they shot down (some cylinders and an octogon).


Everything else is speculation so far.
