Clarity

Those who live their life in fear of prosecution of ones actions shall discover that the worst judgement, are those that we give our self, in the clearing.
Wether heaven or hell exist or cease not, there is no denying the soul. The closest we come in our waking days is our conscience, and the farthest we come is falsifying the truth. While your soul reaches out to speak to you, there are those that deliberately strafe from the source. There was once a quote that I remember, it went along the lines of "don't second guess yourself", but the way this should have been stated, is don't second guess yourself due to an outside influence.
Sometimes when ourselves tell us another way of going about our business, it is actually our souls striving to keep us on the right track.
The right track. So what is the right track? Right, wrong, indifferent? What's the meaning to these terms that we use so freely , but can't even agree as a whole on who the "right" opinions belong. For there may be no one answer that pleases everyone, there will always be a moment of clarity for every thought provoking situation.
Wether it be forecasted in the near future or waiting for you beyond your pearly gates, clarity will have its time with anyone that denies their own righteousness. Clarity takes no prisoners, nor holds any grudges. Clarity exists solely for the purpose of bettering ones self through trial and error.
One may ask, what is clarity besides the undisputed truth?, but what many can't conceive its not only the truth, but the consequences or effects of ones decision as well. Only until you realize both the advantages and disadvantages, what could have been and what was, will clarity mean anything more than another unadorned fact.
This moment spent in clarity neither guarantees nor justifies ones actions, but leaves thou with a conscience more readily available to interrupt daily thought processes. Only you can choose how susceptible to the soul you wish to be.
Consciously and unconsciously, your soul reaches out to be heard, but one must be listening. It's easy to listen to ourselves if the path is clear, or the answer you are seeking is convenient, but when an answer or idea that is not readily accepted, or provides more work for ones self, it becomes much easier to ignore ones soul.
If your soul never has an opportunity to speak its mind, does one make no "right" decisions? Of course not, but it does weaken your ability to distinguish between a previous moral standard you had set for yourself.
Every minute of every hour is another moment to set clarity on a path to cleanse ones soul, but one must be strong, for everything that comes back around is apt to change and challenge us in new ways that we may not have previously accounted for.
While ourselves as people may be spontaneous, ones soul, ones fire within, has no need for spontaneism. For there is no "wrong" answer that our conscience may give us, only new paths which we are unacquainted.
The day all paths have been walked, and every perceivable and unperceivable conclusion has been fitted accordingly, will be the day that we no longer need our conscience. This day may or may not come, but we can only get closer to this destination. For there is no erasing or adjusting the past necessary. The past simply lays the blueprints out ahead of you, but the work does not fulfill itself.
Only through trial and error will this work every be accomplished.
Only through trial and error will we discover the differences in right and wrong.
Only through trial and error will we ever find clarity within ourselves, and learn to live with it.
