These are God's true "Chosen People". Most work very hard, just scape by trying to make a living and never hurt anyone. Actually, I do not agree with this observation at all. It's just a simple minded stereotype. In fact, I think it's far less likely to have any validity than other stereotypes. I have found that very often ugly people have been warped by their ugliness and the obvious response they have gotten from others all of the their lives. Ugly people are often hostile and envious. Poor people, at least in the past maybe not so much now, are poor for a reason. Many are not mentally competent, or have a poor work ethic. Most of them abuse substances. Many are criminals. Many abuse their spouses and children and have other sociopathic tendencies. If you actually studied Sociology, you would learn that the most honest, reliable, hard working, upright and moral, belong to the middle class. At either end of the class stucture, the rich and the poor, you will find that there is a general belief that the rules do not apply to them. I personally believe that the people you are glorifying used to belong to what used to be called "working class." They were more at the bottom end of the Middle Class, but they definitely had Middle Class values. They are pretty much extinct. They have all fallen into the Lower Class and succumbed to Lower Class "values." I recently heard that America is considered to be the trailer park of the world. And so it is. Did it not occur to anyone that this post is here soley as a propaganda tool. The people in power want you to completely identify with the poor is good ethos because you are poor and you're going to get poorer. They don't want a pissed off poor. They want a happy, complacent poor who see themselves as morally superior. Ridiculous. Sadly, the Pope is part of it.  doubtful as well as lost. |

I never really understood that quotation. Now I believe that I do. The most humble, the poor, the old, the forgotten, the homeless and the suffering are the true "Children of God". It is not the priests, preachers or book writers wanting to sell you their truth. But since people still want to post that I am painting these people with too wide a brush. Please just try and understand that I am NOT saying all poor people are good and that all wealthy people are bad. I am saying we should love ALL people regardless of race, education, religious beliefs, physical problems or mental issues. Simple message really... That (in bold)is really what it's all about. When there is a story in the paper about someone doing something absolutely beyond conception in it's inhumanity, do you usually see a rich person, or a toothless, scaggy, methhead Akronite.... They're always from Akron...originally. My contention is, you, because you are a propagandist, want people to buy this happy horseshit because then maybe a few won't rise up and kill everybody when they find themselves selling turds on the side of the road because that's all they have...and soon to run out of those.
