He probably always knew he would suicide..so kept people at arm's length..especially those he knew it would hurt most(spouse) and he chose a very particular moment to do it.

Re: Mad World
The point is...that if this virus was intentionally spread as an Act of War by the communists due to their anger over being insulted by the tariffs, then spreading it purposely via churches, would play into their plan perfectly.

Communists hate religion and by breaking up that very real source of comfort and faith and calling it non-essential..is working directly into the Communist hands.

Destroy community. Destroy faith. Make everyone willing to snitch on their neighbor..seems right out of a playbook.
 Quoting: Seer777

You understand that propaganda runs to both sides of the aisle?

You understand that when you describe communist party actions you describe the war on drugs and the centralized money printing which has caused an unprecedented divide in rich and poor?

You understand that entitled parasites run in all isms and all walks to mandate their special priveleges through law and force?

You understand that the basis of propaganda is a minority within or majority without?

It didnt take you long to demonize a race of people run by the same parasites that.....(as above)

I've enumerated a system of that creates transparency with a flick of a switch and makes all within and without accountable to their rules no matter the system.

You really need to think outside the preprogrammed box.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68904953

Of course I do. That is why I don't take sides. I am looking at this objectively as possible, while seated firmly within it.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Americans are free to choose. I don't have to agree with the choice..I agree with the right to choose.

I don't demonize the Chinese people. I feel sorry for them and don't want to become them. The CCP though..

I have set foot in a Walmart less than 5 times in my life and that was more than 2 decades ago. I have never been comfortable with it.

I buy made in America, while I am a part of that as well.

The dishes I bought for my birthday last years are made in England. Denby.

The glassware I bought..made in Italy..Luigi Bormioli.

Not saying that 'Made in China' was easy to avoid in any way.

I think the Red Scare part 3..might be coming soon.
 Quoting: Seer777

I said that months ago. I also enumerated why.

I am more interested in the actions of Russia as they are the pinion/fulcrum that will douse or ignite this shitshow.

We are watching a subtle checkmate and everyone is worried about social distancing measures.

The virus is not the issue. The issue is the inability of most not to fly into adhd conspiracy fits.

In china they tell you and then put a gun in your face. In the free world they tell you and hope you wont be a fucking idiot...the idiots always dress up their logic and garnish it in the veneer of freedom that was even a fallacy in the old west.

Freedom requires the ability to prove that you earned it.

People can still question their government and make sure no measures instituted during this crisis are not assumed into law. However...its easier to come up with outlandish conspiracy theories rather than understand that everyone will get this novel virus. The reason for distancing being the rapidity of spread and systemic constraints.

Will governments try to seize power? Yes

Will they use the reduced patterning noise to track you? Yes

Will they try to avoid taking responsibility for this monetary crisis? Yes

But...its your job to be a good citizen and to tell them...in a free society....they only have the rights we afford them...not the other way around.

But most will whine ceaselessly and do nothing.

I thought 'piigs' was a typo..very clever.

PIIGS

What Does PIIGS Mean?

PIIGS is an acronym for Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Spain, which were the weakest economies in the eurozone during the European debt crisis. At the time, the acronym's five countries garnered attention due to their weakened economic output and financial instability, which heightened doubts about the nation's abilities to pay back bondholders and spurred fears that these nations would default on their debts.

It does not need to be intense...both excess stress and excess boredom lead to a break. Remember, stress is not necessarily a high energy or negative connation; It can be quite the opposite.

Remember, like all media, social media, is meant to create consensus through the Idea of dominance, not in reality, but by and through incessant projection.

This why one must keep in mind the negativity of not fostering alternatives or alternate voices.

Point is..there were a lot of lonely people out there already, that social distancing and forced self-isolation is going to exacerbate that problem.

Loneliness is not about being alone. It is about feeling alone with no one to relate to.

Disrupting everyone's routine, taking away their ability to make a wage, terrify them with a pandemic and then lock everyone inside with their families regardless of readiness..

It's all the worst parts, of all the things history taught us to avoid, all at once.

People are going to crack and that shouldn't be any kind of a surprise when it does.

Heading things off at the pass requires foresight.

Some philosophers argue that it is not only the right of a people to overthrow an oppressive government but also their duty to do so. Howard Evans Kiefer opines, "It seems to me that the duty to rebel is much more understandable than that right to rebel, because the right to rebellion ruins the order of power, whereas the duty to rebel goes beyond and breaks it."

Morton White writes of the American revolutionaries, "The notion that they had a duty to rebel is extremely important to stress, for it shows that they thought they were complying with the commands of natural law and of nature's God when they threw off absolute despotism."

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

What is most inexplicable, is the speed with which people have chosen to accept absolute tyranny. There are of course voices of non-consent but most seem to have just accepted the 'new rules'.

It's depressing. I wavier between the 2.

Depressing makes it so you don't want to move and settle into apathy and escapism. Anger makes you want to move and hit something...hard.

Uncle(partner) intel..

The first few days before Oregon got the full lockdown order..we were sent an email to be told our income for the foreseeable future..has disappeared.

My partner being much less of a depressive than I am..instantly sprung into action..due his belief that we 'younger people' are at less of a risk, than those of our elder community.

He applied for something called Instacart some weeks back..and is still waiting to hear about the background check.. I assume due to backlog..like everything else.

His 99 y/o grandma whom we shares a long wall with..was running low on food, so it fell to him to provide her, and us.

While waiting in line to purchase said food earlier today, he ran into someone who was delivering for "Instacart ' and mentioned the 'tips were insane'..

I delivered pizza in this college town in 1999 and I recall my tip then. They were good.

People need to eat..more than most anything else.

 Quoting: Seer777

I thought I'd mention..that Oregon was one of the first states 'locked down' and as soon as we heard the 'shelter in place' order..my partner applied for Instacart.

All these weeks later, an he has heard nothing back..a bit like those attempting to apply for unemployment and finding a busy signal, redirected to dead lines, and all out ignored.

The 'System' was not created to handle this kind of overload.
