Re: Mad World
It's indeed well-written.

So much so that the author states that if the DMT experience is an expression of the inversion of order, then Terrence might have been right.

He was not, though.

The best visual corollary is the labyrinth. Of which, I'm not certain to what degree the film may or may not do justice.

I leave it to you to interpret what it is an expression of.

I saw space separate into sections and then I was somewhere else, looking at a giant clockwork cube. At least I think it was a cube. It looked like a wall of spinning cogs all different colors. I rose to the top and it was flat out in front of me as far as I could see. I guess that is only 2 sides.

That's the entirety of what I saw. No elves for me.

Re: Mad World
The distinction between jester and trickster lies in the fact that the trickster is a completely free entity, not affiliated with any particular person in authority. In addition – and this may be the most significant difference – he is generally less discerning than the jester in choosing the victims of his pranks and wit.

Jesters are often guided in their mockery by a certain kindliness that prevents their treating a friendly old farmer in the same way as an avaricious cardinal or a venal magistrate, and their mockery is often intended to show up a vice of some sort. The trickster, on the other hand, rarely has scruples about cheating anybody for fun or gain. The jester is usually aware of the effect he can have and frequently uses his talents to help others, cause merriment, give advice, or defuse a perilous situation.

It is perhaps this more ethical input, together with his close relationship to the king, that distinguishes him from the boundless trickster.

I had just turned 16. Connecting the jester with the experience on a whole..really works here.

In my 20s, it was my friend's stories about meeting the DMT elves that got me curious about DMT in the first place.

Not one of those things acquired easily and took me close to year to finally get. Jumping through a lot hoops to get there. A one eyed man is who I eventually got it.

Now I'm waiting on mushrooms..legal here.

Re: Mad World
I had hoped it would give me an OBE. I wanted proof that the 'essence/soul/spirit' whatever you want to call it, can exist outside the body. I wanted to see it for myself.

I had been meditating and studying for years how to OBE and had been unsuccessful in all my attempts.

With DMT..after I watched space separate..it. was like going to sleep for 3 minutes where I saw the cog wall. Not that exciting, but memorable.

Most people drink it in a tea.

The dissociative trip triggered by amanita muscaria lends itself to that kind of OBE being a GABA agonist.

Psilocybin containing strains not so much as they agonize 5HT very similarly to DMT.

Jester Hat

A hat that depicted the tail and ears of a donkey were worn by the very first medieval jesters. With time the jester's clothes became more and more brightly colored, humorous and gaudy. Their hat became known as the fool's hat that became the stereotypical three-pointed one that everyone is so familiar with today.

I think maybe the point is here..

That if the jester shows up, it's because you're at risk of becoming a jackass.

I can see it as a lesson against drinking/gambling/drugs at a certain perspective.

Like Grammy use to say, Everything in moderation. Even moderation..

What I've noticed over time, that if you choose to believe in anything, you can be manipulated by and through that belief in one way or another.

I don't have to believe in gravity to know things fall.

Thus, the absurdity of that meme about not believing in 'physics' only to start floating.

Bronze looks like gold to the untrained eye.

The Golden Age 'remembered' was most likely the Bronze Age before it collapsed into a history and technology erasing heap.

I don't believe in fairy tales of Atlantis or Lumeria, so you won't get anywhere with me there.

I find the power of disbelieve just as valid as believing in anything. Easier said than done, tho.

I think people in general really underestimate the total destruction that was the Bronze Age Collapse.

People went back to living in the dirt. It's those memories I think people recall, when they look back over human history.

Thread: F-35 crashes while attemptimg to land on USS Carl Vinson in the South China Sea!!! Update: NEW Video leaked February 6th! Pg. 6...

At least seven sailors were injured when an F-35 fighter jet crashed while attempting to land on a US aircraft carrier in the South China Sea. Three were taken to the hospital in Manila, Philippines, after the "accident," the US Navy said. Their condition was therefore stable.

The other four injured received medical treatment on board the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. Three of them have since been released. According to the report, the pilot of the F-35C jet was able to save himself by ejecting and was recovered by a military helicopter. He is said to be in stable condition.
