Getting to a point they can't hide it anymore.

There will be no Reedley Spectacular 4th of July Fireworks show this year, says Lore Callahan, a committee member involved in putting on the event in past years.

Callahan, chairman of the event for 10 years until 2013 and presently a committee member, said the organizing committee became smaller every year “until there were no longer enough people to make the show happen anymore.”

I only saw a handful of cancelled events out of hundreds nation wide. There would have to be a shit ton more cancelled events before it could objectively be seen as doom related.

Ummmmm....the Groton CT show alone is big enough. Thousands of military go. The two biggest casinos in the US fund it.

You will probably get a clear one or two week warning. This will be done so the rich have time to get their kids home from camp and get out of Dodge.

I'm somewhat near Whiteman AFB where the stealth bombers are, so I would expect to notice something is up.

In that event, I'll just get a lawn chair, cigars, cold beers, and watch the show.
