California's Lake Oroville Main Spillway Severely Damaged/Eroded. Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed

When this story first rolled out the focus was on the spillway, and why it crumbled.

I'm going with seismicity and small quakes causing the liquefaction, crumbling of the spillway, some of the first observable ground movement.

This picture shows the hydrology piece. Water comes and goes when underground forces exert pressure. Underground pockets of water are moved up and out. My belief is that the dam is being influenced by the forces of magma. The magma is waking up the volcanoes up and down the west coast. (uncle intel)

One of the best threads I ever read about the underground ocean in CA is over at nope on the Mojave desert. The concept has made its way into an ol' James Bond movie. The link is a ban if I'm not mistaken.

I'm north of the area in WA state and the rains have started here.

I found this story. I believe it is an attempt of explaining the sulphur smell in the region. They took the most populated area in the foothills and came up with the story of a tank car derailment of sulphur acid.

Also there is a video of a fire in SB and the fellow states that the origin is a volcano "waking up".

No new inflow numbers since that bogus 7,400+ CFS report at 0900 two days ago. Has been blank since then.

Yes, it is raining off and on.

Oroville inflow numbers are back as of 10:00 today. I am assuming much of the inflow is ash and silt due to the fire burn areas.

Just a thought Crunch62, did they think to dredge/clean out around the dam power plant intake while the water has been so low?

Up to 3" for No CA. Landslides around the Dixie fire area already starting. Impact Monday/Tuesday. This thing is huge. The storm will make landfall on WA. coast. The atmospheric river hitting No CA is being towed along by this cat4 system, but we don't have hurricanes in the PNW.
