Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed I'm going with seismicity and small quakes causing the liquefaction, crumbling of the spillway, some of the first observable ground movement. This picture shows the hydrology piece. Water comes and goes when underground forces exert pressure. Underground pockets of water are moved up and out. My belief is that the dam is being influenced by the forces of magma. The magma is waking up the volcanoes up and down the west coast. (uncle intel) One of the best threads I ever read about the underground ocean in CA is over at nope on the Mojave desert. The concept has made its way into an ol' James Bond movie. The link is a ban if I'm not mistaken. [imgur] [link to imgur.com (secure)] |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed I found this story. I believe it is an attempt of explaining the sulphur smell in the region. They took the most populated area in the foothills and came up with the story of a tank car derailment of sulphur acid. https://twitter.com/_/status/1450261268519022594 Expect more. I am assuming much of the inflow is ash and silt due to the fire burn areas. Of course they didn't. That is how CA DWR operates/doesn't operate. They could have taken advantage of the situation to do some maintenance. But, noooo... Idiots. The storm will make landfall on WA. coast. The atmospheric river hitting No CA is being towed along by this cat4 system, but we don't have hurricanes in the PNW. The scanners are going, and literally every call all day has been for 'power lines down'. Thankfully, our power is still good. Generator at the ready. Quoting: DieselTech What repairs have been made to the gates and spillway during this fortunate drought? Haha. Stop thinking like an intelligent rational proactive man. The spillway and gates are just fine, so nothing has been done. LOL, yeah the infrastructure is just fine. Very sad that no repairs were attempted during this dry opportunity.
