A farmer near me purposely breads healers with sheppards. No idea why but it serves a purpose some guys use I guess. Where i am at, heelers are loved more than most people. Shepherds are very smart, trainable, obedient dogs, so it seems there's probably a very good reason they breed them like that. Maybe the qualities of a shepherd in a smaller package? |
