Alavert D and Nyquil is all I did last night, plus my 3rd dose of Angelica Root caps. Nothing else. I didn't do all the herbal things like I have been doing as I fell asleep before doing them. Now I have to figure out what it was I have been doing that obviously was triggering things to be worse. No prescription needed, but yeah, you have to purchase it at a pharmacy. Or you can keep trying other things while suffocating. Your choice. My friend WA can't take a deep breath. She needs to try Bronkaid. Otherwise I agree with you. I just feel she needs quick relief. Asap status, ya know? Thank you so much for understanding how bad it has been Simp!!! The not being able to take a full deep breath because there is no room and so restricted is all asthmatics panic trigger. When I started to panic, I did the nasal breathing one person on here suggested [link to articles.mercola.com (secure)] and it really helped to calm me down and the attack stopped enough that I could breath well enough to even do the nebulizer. Going to get the Bronkaid today. Wrapped ginger is going on tonight. Vit C and D today. I always forget the Vit D. One thing about that, make sure you all are getting Vit D-3. D-2 isn't absorbed by the body and yet it is the one that Dr's prescribe - idjits!!!! A doctor told me about it. hot steamy shower too I second the coffee. Hot and black. It is a natural bronchodilator. Just not too much of it or it will give you heart palpitations if not used to it. Also - you should really be on Advaire. One puff a day probably 250-500 mg. I have had asthma since I was 2 so I have a lot of experience. Ginger tea is also good. Also - STOP SMOKING Oh - and if the air is too dry, use a humidifier when sleeping. If you are using radiator heat, that is a problem because it can cause molds, which causes asthma.
