Took me forever to figure out the name of it, and I recently found it and watched it again after having had it on my brain for decades. Still creepy as hell. Add to the list! Post your own "Creepiest Made For T.V. from the 70's"! Wow, that's bizarre.. I don't remember it at all.. but then, there were thousands of flops that premiered, aired for a few weeks, then were YANKED off the air when they wouldn't garner any ratings.. then, there were shows which did garner ratings, lasted 3 or 4 seasons then vanished. I am still looking for any vestiges of a tv show called "The Little People" starring Brian Keith, the famous actor. He was a veterinarian in the show, back in the days when veterinarians were HONEST, and didn't nickle and dime people to death over their pets... IMHO, anyway.. ___________________________ GOD IS REAL. FEEL THE FORCE OF GOODNESS FEEL THE FORCE OF LOVE COMBINED WITH GOODNESS FEEL THE FORCE OF HAPPINESS & PEACE COMBINED WITH LOVE & GOODNESS. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78204523 United States 07/04/2020 09:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here was my reply when someone asked for some suggestions to some TV shows from that era. I'm posting some suggestions for U.S. TV shows & including a couple from the UK, which had equally as wonderful shows. I will post some more of those, as well, hopefully. Please post your own favorite shows as well. Quoting: Anonymous TV Shows 1897079 Don Rickles as "CPO SHARKEY" in the 80's, which was quite funny: "ABC Sunday Night Movie" - 1977 through 1981. When you heard this theme, like Pavlov's dog salivating at the bell, you KNEW that a (probably good) "TV MOVIE" was about to come on. Some classics including "Brian's Song" was aired on there. "JENNIFER SLEPT HERE" About a dead, glamorous hollyweird star who haunts the house of a 14 year old guy but only he can see her The series improved with age, had an adult type humor even though the protaganist was 14. Someone uploaded a bunch of them, starting with the first episode: "The Champions" (1968) Interesting show which was on "ITC" British Television in the mid 1960's: About a group of 3 psychics who solve crimes/terror around the world [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] 'THE TIME TUNNEL' (1966?) Irwin Allen's classic sci-fi time portal - 'JOHNNY CYPHER IN DIMENSION ZERO' (1960) cartoon |

For a brief time, the highly experimental comedy show by Ernie Kovacs was replayed. Carol Burnett was consistently good. There was a lot of subpar tv though |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 59030551 United States 07/04/2020 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Brits made pagan folk horror shows with the premise some isolated village had kept up satanic practices and many were chilling, and might even hold up today. They seemed scarier as there were more realistic. Think Wixker Man but on a smaller scale due budget constraints. The Dark Secret of Harvest Home was an attempt to do an American version. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 59030551 United States 07/04/2020 10:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You asked for tv, but some might have never seen two films, The Wicker Man or Brotherhood of the Bell. The former is very creepy especially the mask scenes. The entire island's residents are out to get the investigator. The latter film dangerously alludes to shadowy globalists groups way before the general public even knew they existed. The stupidly refilmed The Wicker Man and totally ruined it. |
