She wants me but she won’t say it). Only a retard would use it to track steps for cardio purposes. Can’t you just keep track in your head? I do. The Savvy Buyer |

I deliver newspapers every night so I got my Fitbit just to see how far I was walking each day. Seeing how many steps you take actually motivates me to try and beat that total each day or week. |

They're BS with an agenda. And it's nothing to do with health. They want you hooked on pills and vaccinated. PERIOD! So don't do any wellness programs whatsoever. Quoting: Kingzzor Simple, just run and work out without the metrics. Use a mirror and a scale. Suggesting using a scale sort of invalidates what you said imo - Scales are useless. True, you could skip the scale entirely and just start exercising more and eating more healthy. Many skinny people with heart conditions because of undiagnosed auto-immune disorders or lack of cardio exercise. Skinny people often think they don't need to get up and move around as much but that couldn't be further from the truth. Even if you're skin and bones your cardio will take a hit from an inactive lifestyle. Couldn't agree more. Humans are meant to climb, lift, run, jump etc etc - not sit and sit alone no matter our shape. |

Just get out there and move. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77831634 I know all about microwave radiation, especially smart meters. But the Fitbit my friend wore one and was not feeling very well and had heart issues. All kinds of messages would come through her Fit bit. After she lost it after 6 months she began to feel better and her heart issues are better too. It is no way to improve your health. No, it was racing before I ever owned a Fitbit, It rarely races now, I take a beta blocker and it stopped it. I love the fitbit, its been a worthwhile device. I also use a AliveCor KardiaMobile Personal EKG Monitor which you dont wear, but uses your smartphone though an app to do a EKG and determine your heartbeat. The last thing is a blood pressure monitor, as i tend to have low blood pressure. Signed, Sealed, and Delivered. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10485453 I had a heart attack nearly five months ago, so....yeah, I'd like to monitor my heart while exercising. I've used once since my Heartattack in 2015. The best part isn't the exercise tracking, although that helps. It's the Resting heartrate. That will after a while be your ultimate check on your general well being. 100% suggest, I'm using the versa, but the charge 2 is just as good, The app is the best part. Thank you, very much.... interesting! Thanks Southern Soldier |

For me it's about reminding myself that I haven't taken enough steps and like that target of 10,000 a day. It was on Clearance behind the counter at Walmart - I asked the sales person if they had any and she pulled out a few boxes - they come in either S or L - S is good for all women. It came with a cord to charge - so I just recharge it on my computer, also with an extra wrist band to switch out from black to orange :) This was just a few months ago. And it was only $25. I would look for a clearance deal like that because $150 is !!!! It's kind of like the IPhone they keep coming out with a new updated version when the original one is all most people need. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77843620Going by your retarded logic, who gives a fuck about you and your little heart issue you had last night where you almost died? People like you don't represent the majority and are their own group, fuck the people in your wagon too...who gives a fuck? You are an over boiled nuerotic destroying your brains with gerd pills....but dont grow up? Have dementia and clear the deck for less "nervous" people? Yup. They are easy as disease ownership and its not ethical to encourage it. I still can't help saying something, it was commmon in my day to have the healthy patient...but i am not sure its ethical stopping people either now? We have so many and not using disease as a reason or coping mechanism? My grandmother said, about the last medical fad, "everybody that took pills got sick and died?" We are just repeating a know succeeder i think while industry makes big bucks. As well, I'm restarting cardio rehab, too. I've looked at the different products at Best Buy and on the net, but I'm thinking the Fitbit Charge 2 might be my best bang for the buck....$150. That's $50 more than I was thinking of spending, but if my buds here at GLP sing its praises, then it will be worth it. Or, if any of you have any other suggestions of a product like the Fitbit at the same or less price, then please do let me know. I'll check them out also. Thank you, and happy day to youse guyses.... I went from the Flex to the Charge 2, it's worked great for me so far. I also like that it tracks the resting heart rate, and shows the progression over time (in the phone app). |

I use an Iwatch 4, yes expensive, but It will detect heart arrhythmias which I need, plus my heart rate and a rudimentary EKG. Also if I fall it will detect it and if I'm not up in a certain time it will call 911 and any one I designate. It has to many other function to mention here. |

I previously used the older Fitbit charge hr model & loved it. I would say the Fitbit app is much nicer to work with & I miss it’s simplicity. Apple shows you an activity wheel which I find annoying & you need to scroll down for steps. Fitbit shows you everything faster & unless you have Apple iPhones already the Fitbit is probably the better option all around since it can be synced with more devices & costs less. Happy tracking whichever you choose! |

As soon as I took it off, back to normal. Too much B.S EMF. Get a Kardia mobile and check your heart rate right after a workout if you feel the need. Strapping anything that uses wireless to your body is in my opinion a bad idea and probably worse for your heart in the long run. |
