What about the variety that says that most humans will be tortured in hell for all eternity? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77286179 Do you not think it is a very strange that you are speaking about a document that tries to Hellenize Judaism? Why even take it into consideration when "Hebrew Thought" rejects it all together and does not accept it as a descendant. The NT reflects Hellenism trying to attach itself to Jewish ideologies... Kinda like a parasite. So it is no wonder, why the west is sick with scizophrenia. After all, its religion is a Hellenistic parasite in a Jewish host, so the Western Gentile mind is torn between Athens/Rome and Jerusalem. |

The Hebraic model is actually worse in terms of what it manifests. God is a male, only a male, and could never be female.....the most vile and rotten things here today all have this root in common. Hebrew is a wicked way to be. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77852475 Did Christianity teach you that? Did you know not that Adam was both male and female before G-d split him/her into him and her in Adam and Eve? Did you know that for the Jewish people, this story is also a reiteration of the proceedings before the Creation of the world? This should teach you that G-d is not male nor female, but if G-d could be split the two parts would be a male and a female. The reason G-d in the Bible is referred to as a HE, is because the Hebrew has no neutral gender, like in English "it". All objects are either masculine and feminine. Another reason G-d is referred to as a HE is because in the dynamics of his relationship with Israel and the world, G-d is the Active, the masculine, whereas all the rest are always the passive, feminine in relation to Him. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76626437 United States 08/13/2019 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just two examples. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77916019 The ancient Greeks believed, man is equal to the gods, yet it is the tragedy of man to die. And when a man dies, the tragedy doesn't stop, oh no, Hades is a place of nothingness and coldness, for eternity. According to the Achilles, who had met Odysseus in Hades, "It is better to be a serf on earth, than a king in Hades. So why not become a "Greek Hero" with blood lust to make a name for oneself? As it is the only solace in the face of the tragedy of death... But for the Hebrews, man is but a worm compared to G-d, yet the only tragedy in the life of a man is the fall from the Garden of Eden... A place he WILL return to, the return is inevitable. So why be a "Hero" writing your name in history, with the blood... of those you kill? How stupid such a though is, for it only delays the return to Eden. And true!! "Heroism" lies in the actions that hasten the return to Eden. Also, the ethics of the Greco Roman Bible... The stupid Illiad. After 9 long wasteful years of failed attempts to capture Troy, finally, a commoner soldier (whom Homer presents as "the ugliest soldier in the army", judge book by its cover eh) rises up and denounces the Greek kings who led the army on such a wasteful expedition. Then Odysseus rises against the "ugly" man and knocks him down... To this Homer says "The soldiers all cried 'Odysseus has done many great things for us, but this surely is the greatest". The Bible has a... slightly similar story. After Solomon had died, his son, Rehoboam ruled after him. The Israelites asked the new king to not work them as hard as his father, Solomon has, in his grand architectural projects. Rehoboam's reply was "My father scourged you with lashes, I shall scourge you with scorpions." Rehoboam is considered as an evil stupid king. Odysseus... as a legend. The stupidity of the Greek thought. It is only a matter of time until it is forgotten. But as it is celebrated today, it is only testimony for the stupidity of mankind. Israel's role as the true light of nations is only a matter of time. The greeks didnt write a book outlining all the ways to exterminate gentiles. Guess who did, and still believes it's their only sacrament? |

So you are faith without works kinda dude. There is no faith without works in Hebrew thought. The whole notion of faith vs works is essentially a product of the Greek parasite in your mind that is struggling to understand the Hebrew mind. In Greek, faith is simply one's belief. Believe in A = Faith in A. Where in Hebrew Faith is only Faith when it is faithfulness. You can believe in G-d all you want, but if you are not faithful, you have no faith. Also, again, very Greek to think about securing a good after life (kinda like Hades is dark and cold, but now there is option B) But as for Hebrew, the after life are a waste of time. The true salvation is not getting a seat in heaven, but bringing heaven down here - restore the world to the state of Eden. |
