My neighbor is a really old guy with a pot belly that sings in his church choir. I noticed that he appears to have a small tattoo dot on his hand. I thought I had heard somewhere that it was a prison tattoo thing. Am I crazy?

All a "prison tattoo" is is writing pen ink that is poked under the skin with a needle or pin. Thats why they are generally blurry or rough edged.

No this doesn't mean that.. 3 dots between the index and thumb means " mi vida loca" ( my crazy life).. one dot on the hand carries no meaning ( except personal meani g) as far as I know..tattoos of spider webs normally mean been imprisoned ( stuck in a web) which is why you see many convicts with them..
