Sin is like gravel that keeps falling on you and piling up and ripping your flesh, breaking you, and eventually burying you.

Jesus you pulls you out and heals you.

Thats the Gospel.

Nope. Merely "Believing" in Jesus as the Son of God will get you nowhere. Satan and the Demons also know who Jesus is.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76343671

Satan and the demons *are not* mankind. G-d *did not* make His covenant with them, therefore your argument has a gaping hole.

Granted, they know Him. "Have you come to torment us before the time?" Mat 8:29. They know what AWAITS them.

Read John 3:16 again.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.

Are Satan and the demons encased in human flesh? Subject to
a human death? Who is the intended audience in this verse?

It's okay. I forgive you ;)

It is because today's average Christian can only mindlessly babble about "How The Bible and Jesus Seem to Be."

And, "How Excited I Am Just To Know I Am Saved By Grace Because Paul Said I Am!"

For Chtistians today, their Christian faith is just another add-on for their busy lives. A matter of making a pragmatic choice, like buying the right Stock in the Stock Market. And then managing it, then cashing it in later. They sport the packaging, but are empty inside.

not that it cannot be done

but why should they

who cares

and so what

maybe get a life, loser

and for the record it is spelled Christians not "Chtistians," idiot

I'm so happy you see fit to paint all Christians with such a wide brush.

I'm sure God appreciates it, too.

You babble on, without making a point.

Did you want to change the topic here, and focus upon Satan and Demons? For some reason, do they interest you more than Christ?

Go ahead. Follow your intuition.

John 3: 16 is the gospel message in a sentence.
But if I am not allowed to quote the Bible, then it is simply this: Because God loved us he sent Jesus to pay the death penalty on our behalf so that our relationship with him could be restored for ever.

[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Jesus told His Disciples to go only to the Lost Sheep of Israel, the man.

Now figure out who He was talking about. It was not Israel the land.+

Re: Not One Christian In Here Can Summarize In Two Simple Sentences The Gospel of Jesus.
Here’s one then:

The bible teaches the disciples did as Jesus asked as they believed him to be the messiah.

So at the last supper he told them when he is dead then they should eat his flesh and drink his blood otherwise they won’t have life inside them.

So the question -

Did Jesus really ascend or was he a Cannibalistic meal for his disciples?

Now Christ means pure so when you are told to eat the body and drink the blood of Christ they are actually telling you in your bible to eat the flesh of children and drink the blood of children. The bible details early adrenochrome.

Now finally Jesus we are told is the son of god, but wasn’t lucifer the son of god after all wasn’t he the prince to the king. So if lucifer was the son of god doesn’t that mean all Christians worship Lucifer or after he was struck down to earth wasn’t he then Satan so all Christians worship Satan believing they are actually worshipping something good.

ICorinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;4 And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve.6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Is the doubting Thomas story a real event or not?

what advantageth it me,
if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink;

Did not the bible teach you Humility dear op?...
 Quoting: ThePassenger

Apparently not.

And it's the bible itself that makes these promises... invest now and cash in later... invest in faith and cash in with eternal life.

Don't blame people for signing up for that deal.

And yeah..... tone it down. You aren't anyone's judge. We've all been judged already and we have all failed so what's your point again?

Go ahead... you be perfect, the first one of us. Go ahead. Show us how it's done.
 Quoting: deplorable scottfree

You're wrong, probably because you never actually read the Bible, especially the Book of Acts.
Being a real Christian means that you surrender to God and then something happens. I felt a rush of living water enter my solar plexus. Then I got water dunk baptized and I felt the desire for sin melt away. Then I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and I speak in tongues. I can stop snarling dogs in their tracks my speaking in tongues. I can leave my doors unlocked because there is a bubble surrounding me that no demon possessed person can cross.
I have quelled ranting lunatics in the NYC subway by speaking in tongues.
The acid head Jesus Freaks of the 70's got it right. We expected salvation to put us into another simultaneous dimension and that's exactly what real salvation is. I experience the Kingdom of God right now, every day, every moment. It's not something in the future, it's now.
I've laid hands on people and spoke in tongues and helped lead them to healing. I've cast out demons speaking in tongues...with help because you don't take on demons alone.
Real salvation means you actually go into a different dimension, which is why it's easier for me to lead someone to the Lord who has done psychedelics than it is to try to convince someone who is trapped in materialism and thinks the material world is real.
You folks should meet the real Jesus, then you could have protection and guidance right now...not later.
Read the Book of Acts.

Religious and spiritual systems filtered with human bias sell us the notion that we could reach perfection only if we join their club and strictly follow their ways.

In this dualistic reality, perfection can not be achieved, exactly as designed and courtesy of the purpose built ego mind.

There can be no perfect humans, no perfect Saints, no perfect enlightened persons.

The best we could do is move the ego mind to the background and bring forth the divine mind and make it more prominent.

This reality is just the beginning of a long adventure along a long path to greater wisdom and maturity, one that extends multiple lifetimes and realities. Eventually, we will reach the discovery of our true Self, which is pure love.

Our divine soul took on this challenge willingly and with great passion, made extremely difficult but also extremely challenging with the parameter that the soul will temporary forget its divinity while in the "realities".

Agree we should always do our best not to judge, and instead better to offer compassion or mentorship. Those who have gained enough greater wisdom to see the poor choices made by some had too made those same poor choices earlier in their journey.

Love is the Truth. Love is pure and unconditional.

God is pure unconditional love.

When we seek or buy the love of God for personal benefit, it is conditional love.

Would we still seek God if God can not guarantee us a golden ticket to Heaven when we draw our last breath?

Would we give to charities and do volunteer work to help the needy and less fortunate when such actions do not award us with good karma?

We can choose to just be kind and respectful towards each other from our hearts without expecting anything in return. God will weep with joy seeing that we are evolving to greater maturity. It will be our first step to living together in peace and harmony.

All the best!

John 3:16?

Or are you asking for the greatest commandment: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself"?

So easy, OP. I'm Catholic btw.
