They had to make the humans believe they were going down, way down, to get them to become better and had to make the 'deckhead' realize he was bad and get him to recognize his error and become better for it.

We watch very little, about 95% study on ancient sites. That show is my 'guilty pleasure'. Moral philosophy disguised as a comedy.

Good evening everyone. How has your week been? Mine has been a little rough, I decided to quit smoking cigarettes again for the third time. So far I’m off of them since Monday morning. It’s been rough but I’m doing it. First 7 days are always the hardest. Especially working around smokers. 21 days to kick a habit. I can do it, I want it. This time for good.

Thank you. The longest I’ve gone has been a year and a half. I’ve previously smoked for 10 years and it’s by far the hardest thing to kick.

I like hookahs though if the chance arises. I wonder about trying a good cigar. But I’d prefer to just kick tobacco all together. It’s rough.

It’s super tough. I’ve read and heard nicotine and or cigarettes are harder to kick than heroin. Idk I haven’t done heroin so I wouldn’t know. I hope one day I’d you choose to quit again that you have a successful round that next time.

I remember many years ago(last century) looking through a book about Mayan pyramids and I had tears come to my eyes with the thoughts, I want to go home.

Years after that I saw a documentary about them and how they were built, a voice inside of me almost yelled "bullshit, that's not how we did it".

My current conscious mind thinks it was use of vibration/sound/frequency type technology that came from within us.

I have no proof to go with that thou it sounds fascinating and real good to me.

You know, ancient pyramids all follow basically the same mathematical principles, indian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Mayan, all basically the same.

I believe in vibrations/frequencies and sounds can move large objects. I mean you can do it yourself with little objects and just humming close to them. Imagine thousands or however many people in one place making sound vibrations. The power is there.

I can totally relate to having given up smoking a number of times, the longest being 17 months.

Currently, this coming Sunday I will be 11 weeks free from that most expensive(health and financially) hobby.

What works for me is telling myself, I don't do that anymore.

I don't even crave cigarettes and I find it really hard to be around smokers.

You can stay smoke free, try telling yourself, its easy taking it one day at a time.

Thanks a lot. That so far for me is the most helpful thing is to tell myself I don’t do that “ I don’t smoke” and it helps that the smell really turns my stomach. I was seriously the most angry person around smokers since I grew up in a household where my parents smoked in and hated the smell but I eventually started which was really counter productive and hypocritical since I was the one always complaining. But it truly is addictive, I’ve kicked other addictions with ease but ciggys are by far the hardest.

Also 8 dollars a pack. Ouch. I can’t imagine the real big cities. Upwards of 15 plus in Chicago I’ve heard.

$14.on average here. 39 years almost a pack a day for most of those years. Good luck and God Bless you in your journey with quitting.
