Hello REASON DIDN'T WORK. Indeed, lack of faith in divine guidance is RIFE. People generally disregard "hunches" or "gut feelings" or "intuition" or "amazing coincidences", seeing them as something completely random.

If one pays attention, they are not random. If one pays enough attention for long enough, tracking such occurrences of inner inspiration, noting them down, and also noting down whether one followed up on them or not, and if such action led to a positive outcome or not, then one will become COMPLETELY CONVINCED that they are not random.

his realization - that one is indwellt by a "wise inner advisor" or "divine fragment", will give you great joy and confidence. It means that good advice is always on hand. It means that you are never alone. It means that you can find help with all decisions. It means you can find the right worlds in every situation to promote thinking in others. It means that there is meaning is everything you encounter, and that it is specifically designed to help you on your learning journey.

If these encounters are extremely unpleasant (as many on this wayward planet are) then this means that you are being offered a "fast-track" learning process, and that the learning curve is very steep but - at the end of the day - extremely worthwhile.

I have been wondering about your name, REASON DIDN'T WORK. It seems you are mostly aware of what does not work - at the present time. Words have tremendous power: if you said REASON DIDN'T WORK YET or COMPASSION WORKS or CRITICAL APPRAISAL WORKS, this might change things for the better. This is not just saying "empty words", but setting a course for the future and raising your awareness of the potential contained in that future.

Thank you for your question, AC. Some of it may be answered by my previous post. On a larger scale, if everyone worldwide knew that they were divinely guided, there would be peace on earth. This is because our divine inner guides work in alignment with the cosmic laws of balance. They are working not only in your favour - for your further development and enlightenment - but for the good of humanity as a whole, and they will direct us towards avenues which will benefit everyone, as opposed to avenues which lead purely to personal "happiness" or prosperity. The laws of balance, if complied with, ensure a balanced world. More information on these laws can be found in the Phoenix journal 27.

It is my joy if I manage to fire anyone's imagination, since imaginative thoughts are the ones which precede action. No action can be taken without a preceding thought. So it is up to you to decide which thoughts to have, for they will create your next step.

I am not promising anything. What is actually unshakeable - and which always "promises" to kick in - is the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT. If you sew seeds of distrust, you will harvest distrust. If you smile, people are more likely smile at you, and so on, to use some very simple examples. Sometimes the EFFECT takes some time to kick in. Sometimes the cause is so long isn the distant past, or so hidden, that it is no longer discernible, so that when the EFFECT suddenly appears on our doorstep, it difficult to understand and you may well be dismayed. Yet this is the time when hidden CAUSES are coming to the surface in an increasingly rapid manner, for all to see, and thus all who have acted in negligible ways will receive the EFFECTS, also know by some as "karma". No one can escape this process.

I am sorry to hear about your situation, Reason Didn't Work. I don't know if this will help, but I am posting here a story I once wrote; it takes place in Bangladesh:

A young woman is dreaming of having a child: she visualises herself as a beautiful bride, and then as a glowing mother-to-be with a baby growing inside her. In her mind’s eye, she sees red and purple cells magically dividing and redividing. However, her dreams are in vain as she has no chance of experiencing this. Her face is half covered by a veil to hide her discoloured, scarred skin. An acid attack was her punishment for refusing to accept an admirer’s proposal of marriage. Her appearance is something she cannot change and she has resigned herself to the childless, uneventful life of a social outcast. Although she stands by her decision, she is also overcome by remorse. If she goes out in public, people will stare at her and her family will be in disgrace. Perhaps she would even endanger the marriage opportunities of her younger sisters. This is why she prefers to hide herself from the public eye, closseted in the stuffy, cramped family home. She dreams of running about outside, the wind on her face.

When she overhears her father discussing future husbands for her younger sisters without their knowledge, the girl is wrought with despair, wondering if they will agree or have to endure the same fate as herself. Summoning all her courage, she leaves the house in secret and searches for help. When she discovers a centre for the rehabilitation of acid victims, she is able to follow her own path without compromising her family. With time, the girl’s focus is no longer on her outward appearance. Her soul's agenda is to go within and to discover other qualities and skills. She experiments increasingly and launches into such an intense period of creativity and learning that her scars are forgotten and her face is radiant with energy and joy. Realising that this experience and the full, exciting life she now leads would not have been possible if she had become a well-behaved and duteous bride at the age of sixteen, she is thankful for the incident – however dreadful – which cut off that option, thus opening up completely new avenues. She is now aware of her basic rights as a woman and as a human being, and she immediately helps anyone who is denied their rights. While assisting the Adibashi community to voice their complaints against land loss, she develops a sense of family belonging with other activists, including her future husband. Whenever opportunity arises, she meditates alone, standing in the wind, her arms pointing towards the heavens, filled with an intense exuberance and the knowledge that everything is possible.

And again: I am sorry to hear this. Perhaps these questions may be able to lead you into a different kind of mental space which will open up opportunities for you (see below). Also: know that we are in the "end times" which will bring about enormous changes, and which will changes everyone's parameters, including yours.

Will you take action to change your situation or are you going to wait until some unpleasant incident forces you into a new direction?
What is on your soul’s agenda?
Are you aware of the miracle that growth and creativity are always possible in every area of life and death?
How strong is your feeling of responsibility to others, thus abdicating responsibility for yourself?
What if people who carry out violence are – on another completely different level – carrying out some divine plan to make us reassess ourselves and move into another dimension of consciousness?
How would the world change if everyone were capable of leaving bitter disappointment behind them?

I'm not out to give anyone false hope or glib explanations for what evil has happened to them. Please try not to do so yourself.

Nothing had the potential to free me from so much malignant energy. It was even on the first day of spring. If there were ever a sign that something was a gift from God, that was it.

I am sorry to hear that you have suffered so much from a close relative. Divine timing is always at work - mostly this is not recognized, however, especially when something happens which we do not want to happen, or which we disagree with. Often, divine timing can only be recognized with hindsight, after more time has passed, and with more experience and understanding. I was devastated, for example, when my father died (I was 20 ) at the time, yet now I know it was extremely beneficial to develop my independence and made way for other important experiences.

Thank you. The value of self-reflection is vastly under-estimated.

This is another important question. We are in a "very earnest" situation globally - massive destruction, continuous violence, deep corruption, unimaginable abuse, devastating pollution. And all this requires correction. It will not happen unless every single person worldwide commits to achieving change in their behaviors, in all small and large ways. If not, self-destruction is the result. Have we reached that point yet? Certainly: and self-destruction would indeed already have happened if we did not have galactic observers in great numbers, with certain advanced technologies at their fingertips, who are allowed to intervene if massive destruction is on the cards - and it has been.
