Saying that we have "no time" to do something is actually doing two things: it is making an excuse, because if we really want to do something, we will find time to do it. Secondly, saying that we have "no time" puts us into the role of helpless victim, succumbing to circumstances beyond out control. It is our mandate to CHOOSE WELL, including to choose well how we spend out time.

People reading this question might think that it is a rather "idealistic" question, and impossible to fulfill. However, it IS possible if the emphasis is put on EVERYONE. As one single person, we can make a start. This can inspire others. The aim is indeed that everyone realises that they partake in this - the creation of the reality around us - and that they realise that they have a significant impact. If we realise what is negative in our behaviour, we can change that to what is positive. It is our choice, and even choices in very small things will have a positive effect. Hence the question:

This is a very interesting question: I am myself confronted with several "unpleasant" situations at this time; how can our concept of "something unpleasant" change? Going out into nature, seeing a new horizon, having a new experience, gaining a new insight, seeing things from a long-term view, and - this is a big one - recognising onself as a traveller through ETERNITY - all these will help to shift our view about these "unpleasant things"....

This is not a world for lazy people. Self-discpline is needed. Mindfulness at all times if possible is needed if we want to avoid descending into messes and chaos similar to that of today ... sorry to say, everything matters ...so we have to get used to it. And even if our focus is off one degree, we will not reach the goal we are aiming for. We could call it a "moral compass".
