Mike was a true believer that all heck was going to break loose at midnight. Computers will fail, power will go out..etc. Well at midnight somebody at the party cut the power to the fuse box! Mike began to jump up and down with his arms over his head yelling "I told you so! I told you so!" Then they flipped the power back on!!! It was great!! Hilarious really! Happy New Years y'all!! The beginning of a new decade!! 2020 has to be better than 2019..

Working for the government in a small town, Wisconsinish; we had a party early in the day on New Years Eve at the local bar, then we all had to go back to work and sit there until after midnight. It was actually fun, and we all were sort of surprised to realize if something went wrong everyone was going to be asking us what to do and we didn't really know either. Nobody had a plan in our small city of 7000... I think my boss was betting nothing would happen because we were all drunk. Or maybe he thought it was the end of the world so we might as well get drunk, :O) As we all know, nothing ever happened. LOL but it was something different and probably my first doom boner.

At home in East Tennessee, it was crazy warm for this time of year. 75 degrees during the day and it did not get below 50 all night. We threw a huge party in the back yard with a bonfire and one hell of a firework show. Next morning we found one of my friends had slept under his truck and several others in the hot tub.
