1999 NEW YEAR's EVE - WHERE WERE YOU?

Tripping on shrooms at around 10,000 feet in the rockies.

Sounds like New Year's Eve 1989 for me.

We all made a big deal about the DECADE change then, wondering what life would be like in 1990!!!

Then, in the 90's, it was all about what life would be like "In The Year 2000"

Drunk. Just bought my friend's computer really really cheap. He was pissed later. Didn't say anything but he was pissed.

I was at my house in Texas drawing up water and drinking wine with a couple friends.

at a Phish show, Phish played from Midnight to Sunrise no breaks

I had a stomach bug. 10 minutes before the turn of the millenium I was puking and pissing out my butt.

I was in Melbourne city with a girl I loved and two other friends guy/girl.. I was 16.. I can only remember getting downtown and drinking a bottle of alcohol with my friends it was at least 5 or 6 hours before midnight I can't remember anything else.. Maybe the shit was spiked? I'm not sure.. I do believe I ended up at an underground rave later in the night where I danced the night away and somehow made my way to my bed the next morning.. I can't remember a thing..

I was working and was paid the equivalent of a week's wages - I only served one person throughout the 8 hour shift :)

Senior year of High School for me. Now I'm almost 40. I hate the 2000's

Finishing four years in prison, alone in my little cell in Scotland's "hardest jail".

An excellent night.

In the Army. About as uneventful as possible. The only reason I even remember it is because I was away from my first daughter & I was all up in my feelings & missing her.

Sitting in a bar getting drunk and watching all the doom tards shit themselves.

I was sitting amidst a fairly large food stockpile, stoking the fire and entertaining 5 children who had recently moved from Wales.

I was at a New Year's watch service at church. I conducted a songwriting contest in which I passed out sheets of paper with public domain song l-y-r-i-c-s written on them, and participants were invited to write new l-y-r-i-c-s.

I then sang the songs with the new l-y-r-i-c-s, accompanying myself on the guitar. Handed out trinkets as prizes.

I was 16 and lived with my parents in a small town outside of Savanah GA called Richmond Hill.

Didn't do much except watch the news hoping everything crashed.

I remember my brother was sitting on the toilet because he wanted to be the first person to shit in the new millennium.

I was dating a sound guy and went with him while he worked the Galactic show at Tipitina's in New Orleans. Major good weed. Not drinking. Much fun!

I was working night shift. The director, DON, and a couple of department heads came in for several hours in case the night shift RNs and staff couldn’t handle the end of the world.

I was in Seoul Korea, at the Dragonhill Lodge celebrating New Years Eve.

that was the last time I left the house to celebrate new years eve in town. I had already quit drinking alcohol.

1999 was the last year I went out to celebrate New Years festivities.

Miami! One of the best nights of my life! Life went to shit in 2000.

I was on top of my gf at the time. Felt so good too!
