I put of a wind generator about 21 years ago, and then I installed solar...fuck climbing the gen-pole and I'll be damned if I lower and raise that thing 70' in the air again...solar is money better spent...when we sold the property it was still pumping out the power though!

I live in an area that has about 400 of these wind turbines so far.
More going up every day.
What they do to the landscape is sickening.
Damage to the environment is undeniable.
They don't last long enough to pay for themselves.
Every one is a net loss.
These horrible things are Obama's legacy and nothing short of a license to steal. Very fitting imo.

Hydro kills fish, Coal is never clean even if you are able to burn it cleanly it is very dirty to extract it from the ground, fracking gas causes earthquakes and pumps chemicals into the ground, etc. Nothing is clean.

I have a high efficiency natural gas furnace, I burn wood, and I also have electric heat, but that's the most inefficient thing you can do with electricity is convert it to heat...

I plan dish and clothes washing around the weather, to keep from running out of power...most people are used to unlimited energy and take it for granted...it's a lifestyle change...
