Whenever I drive through an area with them, I have a very depressing feeling of living in a dystopia. There is an ugly line of these things that go up a mountainside in Maui. What an eyesore. I have a high efficiency natural gas furnace, I burn wood, and I also have electric heat, but that's the most inefficient thing you can do with electricity is convert it to heat... I plan dish and clothes washing around the weather, to keep from running out of power...most people are used to unlimited energy and take it for granted...it's a lifestyle change...
