Did not expected this on Sunday.


I expected France to go past 50k next week, on Wednesday, but also a positivity of 19-20%.


The fact that they passed 50k, at 17% positivity on a Sunday, with 1,300 hospitalizations...it's REALLY BAD.


My hypothesis of a worse outcome then Spanish Flu becomes too damn real, especially after Italy also went past 21k and 20% positivity on a Sunday.

Thanks for all your updates DR, and all the other posters on this thread. I could warn my family and friends very early (compared to the moment medias and government started to admit there was a problem) and stock some food, etc.

I still struggle to apprehend what is coming and the consequences, but at least I can prep a bit and be more careful.

Here a journalist on his twitter reported on Thursday (22nd October) that the French Health Minister announced that he didn't expect 50,000 cases to be reached for two more weeks, even with no further restrictions.

There are rumours on social media that France will announce full lockdown in the next few days. But only rumours.

There won't be any full lock-down, anywhere, this month, no matter how bad it is.

They cannot full lock-down a nation until it's really bad (it will be in mid-November) and until Europe and the U.S. COMMONLY AGREE on full lock-downs.


The biggest problem is that a full lock-down that starts in mid-November, will have to be up until April, at the earliest.



Shit already hit the fan...but the biggest pieces of shit didn't yet.



There isn't much left to say, except that once this month is over, things will accelerate at crazy speed, to full-on SHTF by end of this year...if not by December.

Here in Spain our government approved today a state of alarm until May 9th. Officially it's just to declare a curfew from 11 pm to 6 am but there's already rumors that a long lockdown is coming.

Given the bad numbers coming from France, Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Czech... do you think that Europe could agree on full lockdowns in the next reunion on October 29th? Maybe the spanish movement was a way to be ready before that decision is made.

Anyway, please comment about our new state of alarm until May 9th, do you think it could be related to the long lockdown that you are predicting? The dates seem to coincide with the 4-5 months from mid-november until april that mentioned.

Lock-down plans are set for a good while now.


They are waiting for the U.S. election results. Lock-downs will hit by mid-November, along with martial law by end of November.

Reassessing our preps again this week.

Difficult situation, I was doing some pretty rough calculations about the virus's escalation in the world. From September to October the increase was more than 60% (300 thousand to 500 thousand cases/day), it is possible to assume that, in the middle of November, there will be close to 800 thousand daily cases and, in December, it will pass the million positive cases per day. The world cannot handle it. what will happen when it passes the million a day? I don't know, but it's certainly not a good thing.

If Biden wins, count on marshal law. If Trump wins, it is a nothingburger by spring.

So what you are really saying is that Europe is praying Biden gets elected. Because if Europe has hitched its pony to the US, we all know Trump doesn't care about what is happening in this country. Which means if Trump is re-elected, then the US won't lockdown, nor will Europe. So bye-be Europe.

It doesn't matter who wins, Trump or Biden.


The lock-downs are coming either way, the only difference is that if Trump wins, the lock-downs will start later then if Biden wins.

Even if Biden wins, he doesn’t get sworn in until January, far too late for any effectual lock down. We’re all still infukkted.

If Biden wins, Trump's power in a negociation with Europe will be virtually nil.


Even if Trump is still fully in power, it's one thing to negociate with another 4 years as President, vs. an outgoing President.


I couldn't care less if Trump doesn't want to lock-down, but Europe will anyway, it's just that it is better if Europe and the U.S. come to the same conclusion, so both entities will face the same loses, economically, in exchange for saving lives, if not saving the civilization.
