Quoting: Oxidizer Well fuck them. It was only a handful of hours per week, I'm not going in. Well, there is also a thing called hostile work environment. If they force you to work when it might be detrimental to your health, one might think they are looking at some pretty hefty lawsuits if somebody gets sick and passes it around at work - especially if one of them dies. It was a simple part time job stocking shelves. I'm semi-retired. I told them yesterday that the kid's schools are closed for three + weeks, it's confirmed community spread in our county, and that I didn't feel like it would be the best idea to go into the place and possibly jeopardize myself and my family. I simply asked to be removed from the schedule for the upcoming week. They said I was already scheduled and there was no choice. darylandcat.com |
