I'm drinking til I get word that she's out of surgery. Talk to me glp. *Update pg 10 Yes she was drinking, no she was not driving. She was ejected, and barely alive. I'm freaking out. Because of the covid bs my sister can't even go to the hospital, so she has been calling the hospital like twice an hour. My niece won't be out of surgery until 10. Quoting: Crazy Chicken Lady oh my, Prayers have been sent from the heart. All my best to you , your niece, the family and her Loved ones. OP, also... from the heart to you, there are no good things in that bottle. All my best. Ken My personal thoughts & posts are mine alone. I Love God, Jesus, good people, and the U.S.A. the way the Framers signed the Constitution and Bill of Rights. In my real world life I don't have a problem with standing up to those with solid evidence of corruption from either side, of any issue or place. Many are they in this world that need to be rooted out. That makes me a target to be destroyed by very powerful people, I understand this. At some point we have to stand up for what is right before God. I have done this, lived this way, and will continue to do so till they finish me off or I croak of natural causes. |

Quoting: Crazy Chicken Lady So you are gonna booze it up and then attempt to help?? You are an alcoholic. Well, you completely suck at critical thinking, so wtfe. I stated in an earlier post that I live 900 miles away, so there's not much I can do. Also, when I'm drinking (a reasonable amount) I'm not a doormat, so I'm probably a BETTER help. And no, it's Friday. OMG, I'm drinking! The horror! No. You are just a weak individual. I would drive across the entire country for my nephew, lockdown be damned. Oh please. As if you would make a difference in someone's recovery. You wouldn't even be able to visit in the hospital. You sound like the type who would be a burden to the parents and medical personnel. Quoting: My Fear Yes - if she can make it to surgery it's a good sign, making it out better, making it through the morning even better. I will keep her in my prayers through the morning. I will also be praying for you and your sis. Life is a spiritual war and no matter where we lay our head, we live in a warzone. There will be casualties. You do get to choose your side. A drunk driver hit them He had a broken arm She had head trauma from going through the windshield and died OP - I pray she lives and can recover from ALL her injuries - quickly go to angel help thread as they are great healers ! There are medical Miracles now that they do - and since the HOSPITAL IS EMPTY it will be ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR HER and she will get lots and lots of loving professional care . I'm sorry :( That's terrible. My niece was in the back seat and we think she went out the back window. The police are still investigating, so we still don't know exactly what happened, only what my sister was able to gain from officers that were on the scene. She has internal bleeding, cracked ribs, a broken pelvis, and a long cut down to her skull. :( I'm hoping she pulls out ok. The good thing is they can put most of that back together. My cousin 30 years ago when he was 12 had similar injuries. He was trying to jump from the tailgate he was sitting on onto the hay trailer when it was moving SLOWLY down a county road. He has dragged about 150 ft under the wheel well until my other cousin got my uncle to stop. That was the end of all kids riding on the tailgate ever again. He was in bad shape and everyone thought he was going to die for a couple of days. He is fine now and works as a horse farrier. One of the best in Southern CA. |

I'm drinking til I get word that she's out of surgery. Talk to me glp. *Update pg 10 Prayers for your family OP. Hang in there. We got my 12 year old son a new laptop for his birthday. We’ve been building it up and he’s been expecting it for several months. It’s birthday present/homeschool purchase. We were expecting to have him build it himself. Put together an entry level desktop and let him learn about all the parts. I hopped on Best Buy the other night. Oh no! I almost dropped the ball there. In all the pandemic reactions and worried about standard survival, completely forgot about the tech implications of China being closed. Thankfully I was still able to get something good. Went a couple levels up from what we planned to get too. Building out a desktop no longer made sense. But now he has a pretty decent laptop that should last a few years. He was so happy he cried. He’s been needing one for a little while and we’ve been putting him off and being non committal about it because we didn’t know what we would be able to afford in all of this. It’s probably still less than he would have ended up with if we could have spaced out component purchases over a few weeks and shopped for deals. But he doesn’t ask for much and already understands value. It felt really good to make him so happy. |
