Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71105321 Women doing it might see rapid weight loss and so the suspensory ligaments could be damaged and breasts get saggy. Guys doing it should ordinariy do well as sure they are hugry, but then eat the next day, so the dieting is not driving them crazy as the deprivation is shortened and tolerable. I think when the human stomach is functioning properly, there is little acid in the stomach when no food is present. - - - - - - |

Quoting: wessonoil If so you should be saving that fat for the ever present food threat of shortage that is coming. You might need it. If we're thinking in these terms, OP would be better served by trimming the fat as much as possible and teaching themselves how to calorie restrict on command, so that in the event of a real food crisis they will be positioned to deal with it. They will have the knowledge that "I can survive on XXX calories a day if absolutely necessary." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79123996 07/08/2020 10:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No more than 1400 calories a day. Most of it should be protein. Lower your carb intake. Think before you place anything in your mouth if this is something you want or need. Lots of water (Includes fruity water). Shop smart! Read the calorie content before you buy (most items in any typical grocery store is high in calories - avoid those. This includes salad dressing to donuts). Stop buying junk food, such as soda or pub mix. Give yourself one day a week to splurge just a little (Example: one beer on a Saturday night with your buds). This will not only help you lose weight, it will teach you to eat right. Make sure you eat three times a day. Do Not Skip a meal!!! Breakfast = + or - 400 calories (calorie counting includes counting your coffee creamer. No pork! Sub turkey instead). Lunch = + or - 400 calories (can include Black Forest Ham on thin bread. Very little mayo.) Dinner = + or - 600 calories (This includes dessert). Don't expect to lose you weight quickly. Losing it slow is better for you. Jan of 2019, I was 220 lbs (Height = 6'-0"). Feb of 2019 I started with what you read above. Today I weighed in at and have stayed at 180 lbs for the last year. Of course I maintain my weight by increasing my calorie intake to 1700 to 1800 a day. Depends on what works for you. Good luck! |

YMMV depending on your metabolism and effort. The extra work on the front end will be worth it once you get this basic principle established. Good luck. |

All you need to do is exercise every day, and cut your portion sizes in half. Quoting: Anonymous Cowlick There’s no testimonies online of people losing weight by eating less and moving more. That was debunked years ago. The internet and most experts agree that weight loss is 80-95% diet. OP, try intermittent fasting combined with something more paleo like the carnivore diet. The internet is awash with stories of people losing 100 lbs on that diet. You might also read about the underlying science. Last year when I was sick with pneumonia I read a book by a Canadian engineer named Grant Genereux. He says he lost 50 lbs after eliminating everything that contains vitamin A. He says it also cured his eczema. His books are free on his blog: [link to ggenereux.blog (secure)] His post about how vitamin A causes obesity: [link to ggenereux.blog (secure)] “When I first started on my vitamin A elimination diet one of the very unexpected side-effects was the effortless weight loss. My experience was not a one-off either. I had a (non-diseased) colleague report the same result. Even though we had vastly simplified our diets, it was still providing ample calories (3,000 or more) and all the required nutritional elements. Although n=2 in this study, for two men in their late fifties, to quickly drop around 30 pounds each, and without trying at all to do so, that result was quite intriguing. There was indeed something very unexpected going on here. It’s especially so considering that we’ve both effortlessly kept that weight off for three years now too.” |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79080639 Turkey 07/08/2020 10:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You may drink 1-2 cup of green tea everyday. It will help you slim a great deal. Stay away from refined sugar and processed foods. They make you gain weight. You may try detox for releasing toxicity. You may also lower your carbohydrate just a bit. For example, if you eat too much pasta or rice, you may try cutting them up. Instead of them, you may eat fruits moderately. There is also turmeric to help you lose weight. Getting a small teaspoon of turmeric with blackpepper will help you pretty much. Just mix them up in a bowl of yogurt and squeeze a lemon into. Stir them up thoroughly and repeat this everyday. Wishing best on your journey |

Just walk. Listen to you tube. Goes by fast. And I would only walk 20 minutes at first if you aren’t use to exercising. Too much exercise can stress out the adrenals. Work your way up. And intermittent fasting is good. Start with 12 hours with no food and then you can work your way up to 16 and even 20. Eight of those hours is when you sleep. Keep the body guessing. Eat foods you do like or you could just give up. |
