Sub was Russian Oscar class as I posted earlier.

Eurofighter Typhoons are still in service with the RAF.

Last one was delivered in September 2019.

There is NOTHING an air superiority fighter such as a Typhoon can do to spot a Russian Sub other than use data down linked to it or a human Mark 1 eyeball. NOTHING. WRONG environment

Not to mention that there is NO NEED. the straits of all the world have been monitored by SOSUS sensors since the 60s. You can’t fart underwater in the Baltic Strait without them hearing it. For just the reason. They put subs there on the bottom to wait for trail and or supervise sub transits but a Typhoon airframe?

Cmon man. Even the SURTASS ships would be a better option than an air to air fighter
