I was attempting to re-plug in a computer connection near the floor that had come loose. I felt absolutely nothing. Teachers come running down the stairs of the 2 story high school we were in... they sure felt it! daughters in PA had stuff falling off the shelves as they tried to buy back to college stuff. wild it was. Contrasted with the west coast, which is more like a sandbox. The 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Richmond VA in 2011 was felt all up and down the east coast. At the time, I managed data centers in Atlanta, Raleigh and Boston that had to initiate emergency protocols. |
