What's the point of attending high school reunion?

Haha. There is no point. Those volunteering eagerly to be on the “committee” obviously think their lives are a success and want to make sure old classmates know that. Revenge for those who think they look pretty good for their age and can’t wait to lord it over the fatties and baldies.
The whole thing is stupid.

Only 5 of us turned up.

All well dressed business owners with fucking hot wives.

We were the nerds and the outcasts.

Turns out the rest..the popular ones..were either dead...in prison...or living on the streets as a drug fucked wanker.

Yes, this is interesting. I went through a simple list of people I knew and a suprising number of them were dead, in jail or just gone.
I never was contacted for any reunion. I would have thought the 20 year one would have some significance.
My cousins still live in town.
I guess I was more of an A$$hole than I remember.

payed for all of the seats through the years but was always working on the road on the dates.so always my empty seat at the reunions.

I had fun in high school...I went to the 10 year, but skipped the 20...

Reunions might have been fun pre-1980’s, but now, if you really want to see what people are up to, just look them up online or be like my lame older brother that fills his fb friends with his high school ex-girlfriends, my friends he had crushes on(perv) and nerds he played in air bands with.

Reunions are super cringe.

They had a sign on the counter requesting that people please not sit on it. It made really wonder what goes on at the senior center!

The dumbest reunion is 10 year one as many are still in graduate school. It's meaningless. Your success stands alone from theirs. They are irrelevent.

I Don't know anyone who goes to these shitty reunions. Don't know the point too... Better to be friends with you know after college. Those are mature people, different from the high school shit you know. Awful memories.

Even a relatively small rural high school might have hundreds of graduates, but the brightest were the same students in every advanced class. The rest werejust a blur of dimwits in many cases who were like flotsom.

Some were Christians and so maybe you had some peripheral contact.

So people who weren’t shit in high school can pull up in their 8 year financed Cadillac Escalade that cost $110k and make everyone think that they’re well off, but in reality they live maxed out and miserable.

I was lucky enough to get expelled out of school in the 8th...

So i stayed out for 3 years....

Then i moved to the coast ..pismo beach area...And went to school little bit there...

Still need only 99 credits to Finnish .....

I remember i was doing a test...But i needed a haircut...and the barber closed at 6.... it was like 5..o clock and this was adult school ...i think i was 17...or so...

So i handed the paper to the ..ROID UP GUY..And said i will continue tomorrow as i have to get my haircut...

He just looked at me...He thought i was joking ..I WAS NOT..

He said ..What...I said i need my haircut now...got to go..lol..I left...lol...Fun times..

To see what could have been???

I hated high school. We were super poor and I could never join in any activities. Only had a few friends but never felt like I fit in. Who wants to revisit that? Remember me? The poor loser from way back when? Don't think so.
