Anonymous Coward User ID: 78673355 United States 09/01/2020 06:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Of course not. Petty dictatorships are arising all over America from the State Houses, from the City Councils... the only thing you can do is IGNORE THEM. [link to www.bloomberg.com (secure)] Quoting: irked77 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plans to temporarily halt evictions of consumers earning no more than $99,000 a year to prevent the virus from spreading, a senior administration official said Tuesday. The policy will take effect immediately. LOLOLOL!!!! Can't wait to see the "science" that shows evicted tenants "spread" the virus more so than non-evicted tenants. I'm sure there's a pie-chart or graph involved somewhere. So basically, they destroyed the economy with a fake pandemic. Now, they need to keep the fake pandemic going in order to invoke their authority to prevent evictions, lest millions of people get kicked out of their homes due to loosing their income because of a fake pandemic. Count the people who clearly didn't even read the article. The Trump administration said it will use its quarantine authority to keep renters in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic as a way to prevent an eviction crisis that could worsen economic strains. So the only reason they have the authority is because the White House is allowing them too do this. |

My credit was shit, but I had a big bank account so they took me... What a giant joke it has been on them.... The office emails me weekly to fill out promise notes and all kinds of notices or Coronavirus regulations forms... I ignore every one of them! I have my rights! Not giving them any outs! And then I hear this today after my state just extended our own moratorium another 45 days yesterday! Every day is becoming Christmas! Oh yeah I also got the enhanced unemployment, am still receiving unemployment, will be on it til the end of the year, and cant wait for that $300 extra Trump ordered tacked on too! I am living off the fat of the land, literally money is chasing me at this point, and you should to! This whole ruse is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me! He has outwitted them again. Democrats will not like it, but they have to reveal themselves yet more to oppose relief going to the American people, who they do not want to help, because they still think the American people are blaming Trump for it. The American people started seeing thru the evil party of raw hate (The Democratic Party) long before the evil party of raw hate thought they would. The Democrat Party is heading for a richly deserved election disaster in November, and they keep finding ways to make it even worse for themselves. |

Edit to add: they also shouldn't be allowed to leave the house period if quarantined. Last Edited by Nefarious Libertine on 09/01/2020 06:04 PM We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |

It's breaking a contract so even though the renter evicts, people still take a lasting hit to their credit for breaching that contract. |

So unnamed "administration officials" BELIEVE they have the ability. In other words - take it to court. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 61900078 United States 09/01/2020 06:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They've pilfered our treasury, the value of our dollar, our 401k's (they know the markets are going to crash), and NOW they will steal our properties when landlords can't pay their mortgage and after the unemployment rates soar. The reason they want to keep interest rates low (at the expense of raising inflation) is so that the wealthy can steal your properties with low interest rates and a crashed real estate bubble. The transferring of wealth is upon us like never before. And y'all can't blame state leadership. It all came from the federal level and under the leadership of 45. He knew even before his stolen election that this was the plan. He is in bed with his phony version of deep state and y'all bought in to the propaganda. The moment they announced his win on that fated day four years ago, I kid you not, the temperature in our home literally went up 8 degrees and I knew the gates of hell had opened. Called a friend who lived a town over and she said it suddenly got hot at her place, too. To be clear: labor markets down and massive printing of greenbacks are creating an enormous devaluation of the dollar, to deep interest rates low they have to raise inflation and have already stated they are going to do so, the real estate bubble is going to go pop pop, and our stock markets are going to crash but not before they sell sell sell, resulting in loss of savings for retirees (which was the plan all along when they ended pension in favor of 401k's). Of this we can be certain, this plan has been in the works for many decades. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77861103 United States 09/01/2020 06:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Landlords are either going to take matters into their own hands or simply walk away. More, September doom... Quoting: irked77 Agreed, doesn't anyone understand it is a ripple effect. Renter or mortgage holder doesn't pay their bill, then the landlord/mortgage company cannot pay theirs either! It will harm the landlords more than mortgage companies as mortgage companies mostly live off of interest anyway. That is crazy. Although I don't like the thought of people being evicted, somewhere people have to take responsibility for their purchases. I know this is a special situation but I bet people who can afford to make payments will just sit on the money. And, who can't make payments with the money the government has doled out recently? What about having a 6 month emergency savings. People spend way more than they can afford. It is sad and tragic, but I think it should be a case by case basis. I, know, I sound cruel. Who takes responsibility for all the people that were told they couldn't return to work until the virus was gone? It's not their fault this has happened either. Both the landlords and the tenants are just fucked. Let's shut down the world they said. We'll take care of you they said. No, they took care of the corps and bailed out big business and left all of the unemployed to drown. |
