The names of Turkish officers who fought in Karabakh were published

Engineer, historian and publicist Mike Mihailovic from Canada, announced on Twitter the names of high-ranking Turkish military personnel who took part in the combat operations of the Azerbaijani army in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Brigadier General of the Turkish armed forces Bakhtiar Ersay personally led the General Staff of Azerbaijan. Ankara frankly does not sympathize with the Azerbaijani generals, suspecting cooperation with Moscow.

Brigadier General and Goksel Kahya led the air forces of Azerbaijan, controlled the conduct of reconnaissance and strike drones.

In total, 600 Turkish soldiers were sent to Azerbaijan: 250 to the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, 90 as advisers to the Defense Ministry, 120 to the Gabala air base, 20 to the Dallar air base, 50 to the Yevlakh airfield; 50 to the 4th army corps, 20 to the naval base and military Institute in Baku.

Mike Mihajlovic stressed that he would not disclose his sources, since the intelligence community does not work like this.

Turkey sees itself as part of Europe: Erdogan

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 A.M.) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this past weekend that his country considers itself part of Europe, and at the same time seeks to strengthen relations with the United States on regional and international issues.

On Saturday, Erdogan said, in a speech he delivered over a video call to the Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) conferences in the states of Kutahya, Afyon Karahisar, Batman and Sarat:

“We see ourselves in Europe and not elsewhere, and we aim to build our future with it.”

The Turkish President expressed Ankara’s desire to “effectively invest its close alliance with America to solve all regional and global issues,” adding: “We want to be in a state of stronger cooperation with our friends and allies.”
