A 90 pound woman? I would disarm her and restrain her (even if she had a freaking machete or an axe. Context matters- a 200 pound convict or cage fighter might be a different story, but probably not, I'd disarm and bitch-slap that fool too. If a grown, healthy man is unable to put the time in to learn how to do this, or unwilling, they should go into another line of work than law enforcement.

Those 2 could have always just stayed in their vehicle too and called social workers, etc.- that woman was not a threat to anyone when they rolled-up on her. They aggravated her due to their lack of skill, training and aptitude- OBVIOUSLY.

Listen Robert, I can tell that you've went through a very difficult and painful event in your life, and for that you have my deepest sympathy.

However, you don't have a clue who I am or how much I've done to help others in my profession. You think because someone did you wrong, we're all responsible. That is 100% leftist identity politics think.

My wife falsely accused me of abusing my 14 year old developmentally disabled stepson whom I love like my own child. I was investigated by DCFS and it cost me my job before I could present evidence to overturn their findings. I've been through the system and I know how stressful it is - especially when you're innocent of what you're being accused. Even though we're now going through a divorce and she ruined my life, I never retaliated against her or lashed out at someone else. I did my best to show them the eternal grace of the Lord Jesus Christ in all that I have done.

You should learn to do the same.

In my day, Cops were well trained how to disarm your average "MOM" wielding a knife. Sure you may get cut, but no one had to die on that day.

Why don't they try using tranquilizer guns on people.

Shoot 'em with a fast acting tranquilizer, the person drops unable to move, disarm them of the knife.

And I'm only talking about situations where the person has a knife... if they have a gun that's a different matter.
